I keep my fishing money in a separate online account. Then if I need to make a big purchase she only sees the little bit of money I have to take out of our account. She knows I have it and she knows that I move my spending money into it but she never knows how much is in it. But when she does get mad at me I usually offer to keep the kids for a day and she goes shopping. Then all is good.

Any rig where the weight is several inches in front of the hook requires a sweeping hookset. A sweeping hookset is a low swing to the side. If you set it up over your head it will pull the hook out most of the time.

I'm sorry but the guy isn't even competing in the Olympics. I fish mine on a Med Ex-Fast casting rod and use a 4/0 thin wire offset round bend hook. I have never had a problem with a hookset.

If you are going to be flippin heavy cover you should consider a reel with a strong drag system. I've checked a few reel brands at my favorite tackle store and this is what I learned about the Max-poundage of their reels Shimano Corado - 9.5lbs Pfluger reels - 5.5lbs Abu Garcia Revo - 24lbs That is why I use a Revo for Flipping and Pitching.

Go Dawgs!!!!!!! The good thing is that most of the dummies that got in trouble over the summer will only be suspended for the first game against Georgia Southern. But don't underestimate the unseasoned kids. Georgia is deep with talent this year. It's exciting.

I sit down and eat a sandwich and gather my thoughts. If I have a map of the lake I pull it out and use it to help me change things up. Because it's usually later in the day I will look deeper than I've been fishing and throw a search bait.

Fist of all take that tube and sove it up................. OOPS. Wrong tube. lol Cut the tube into 1/8th inch peices. You use the peices to help keep the hook on the spinnerbait. There are two ways to put it on. 1. Put a peice of the tube over the eye of the trailer hook and then stick it on the spinnerbait. 2. Put the trailer hook on the spinnerbait and then put the peice of tube on the spinnerbait hook.

I don't know if respectable is a good way to discribe it but I will tell you that in the many years that I have been on this forum. I have noticed that those who use all caps get fewer responses because guys don't want to work to read it.

You had a few things going against you. One thing is you didn't set the hook. But before that you were casting a long distance with a Med action rod. So for a good hookset you would have had to swing that rod into the next state to get it in the fish. You would have to compensate for the stretch in all that line and the massive bend in the rod. That rod just doesn't have the backbone for that most of the time.

I've used LimeWire. It work very well.
