Skeet's rig
I know the guy who made that truck and the base price for any rig that he makes is 110,000. Skeets cost before the rap was closer to 160,000.

Welcome You might want to ask that question seperate from this post. Be sure to put it in the Fishing Tackle section. You will get alot more answers by doing that.

Side Imaging Sonar/GPS
It is a sonar that scans the bottom. The sonar waves are sent out from the transducer in a very thin fan like pattern. The return is processed as an exact image of what is in the water and on the bottom. Here is an example

Keep them or throw them back???
It's sound like your goal is to make it bigger....... Well then make it bigger and then worry about the fish. Working on the fish and then makeing it bigger would be pointless.

If there was ever a turtle that could kick your butt....
Why would he be P'ed. He is about to mount his girlfriend. That foot sticking out on the left doesn't belong to him.

Post something about the poster above you!
His parents are telling him it's past his bed time and it's time to go night night.

your swimbait gear
I also use a Dobyns 806 but I use a Revo SX with 25lb Trilene 100% fluorocarbon. This is what I throw all of the big ones on. I don't have a list of the swimbaits I use but most of them are hard sided.

Worst tackle investment you have made...
A bulk 1lb spool of Trilene Photochromic. The only thing it's been good for is as backing. If you let it sit in the sun for one day it becomes very brittle.

thunderstorms
I will usually slow way down. I don't switch the baits that were working before the storm I just fish them slower.

Keep them or throw them back???
C&R is fine if your fishing public waters but it is usually detremental to private fisheries. It causes over population and stunted growth. Selective harvest is the only way to go when it comes to private water.

Keep them or throw them back???
What are your goals for this lake? 1. Trophy Bass 2. Trophy Bluegill 3. Lots of average fish 4. A balanced fishery Once we know the answer to this question I might be able to help you out.

Anyone have any guidance on Zara Spook colors?
My home lake is one of the best top water lakes in the country. Walking lures are king around here. My #1 Spook color is clear. The reason for clear is that I don't want the bass to get a good look at the lure I just want them to attack where they see the splash. I do put a red treble hook on the front to give them something to aim at but that's it. My favorite spook is the Super Spook Jr.

O2 Content
You are right. Many lakes don't develop a thermocline for one reason or the other. When I fish a lake like this I concentrate on the water clarity and use the current to my advantage. After the sun gets up and it starts to get hot I take the water clarity and double it and fish that depth. So if I can see a white bait at 4ft I fish 8 to 10ft deep. I fish creek channels and points where channels make a sharp bend close to them. These places usually have more O2 then the still water will. I was Senko77's boater at a Jr Bassmaster tournament last year. We were fishing a lake that has no grass and doesn't develop a thermocline because of the three rivers that run into this small lake. The rivers keep the water mixed up in this small lake. The air temps were above 100 and the water temp was 96. Our best spot was a main lake point. The river channel ran into the bank just before turning out and running along the side of this point. This created a large amount of current for this half of the lake. We went over it with our fish finder and it had fish stacked all over it. Long story short.. We boated several different species of fish there and he ended up winning the tournament by doubling the second place weight. It was a sweet spot.
