Ok guys i have about 1 month left out here in the middle east. My boat will have sat for 8 months when i get back., i had performance marine do all the normal winterizing/long term storage stuff they normally do. But since i live in Arizona i will be fishing when get back. Glide season is upon us lol. So what should i do when i take it out of storage. i plan on taking it to performance marine again to have them check it out to make sure everything is in order still and it runs good. But is there anything specific i should do. Before taking it to the lake. Thanks guys!

Lake St Clair in michigan. 100 fish days in the spring are very common with a ton of 3-5lbrs. You could probably throw a bare hook at those smallies lol. Miss my home state.

Nice smallies! I fished a tiny lake up near traverse last year and they were hammering tiny perch you could see the perch by the thousands but they would not hit a perch colored jerk bait. I had an exact replica made my lucky craft of the perch that were swimming around but they would not bite. Only thing they would hit was a jig and a spinnerbait lol.

MS slammer, or some kind of glide bait in that clear water bound to bring up a giant.

Best time of year to fish. Find them grouped up and its on!

Ill be out there in the spring some time throwing the spros around and flipping. Arizona surprinsgly has some of the best frogging ives seen all over the US. I get home around january. 8 months of no fishing is killing me!

Number 5 Meps spinner gold or silver blades. Works great in michigan. Check out my videos. I got a few more but you get the point. At the end of the video you can see the spinners and how they hit it.

I live out in phoenix and plan on towing the boat to martinez or mitry. I love throwing frogs and big swim baits and i know both of those are good frog lakes. Cant wait to get back from this deployment. Better luck next time!

In northern michigan i would say late summer. Because any other time of the year your looking at 20+lb bags most days. later summer i can't buy a bite i swear. But thats why i always go on leave in Fall cuz the bite is insane. In arizona where i currently live definitely middle of the summer when it is 115 every day. Spring fall and winter are awesome in arizona.

stationed there for 3 years. Santa rosa lake was good, elephant butte some days was insane 20+lb bags and others a 6lb bag would win. Abiquiu was good for small mouth, navajo was awesome for big bass, conches and ute were good too. Idk how any of these fish now since i haven't fished there since 2010 but worth a shot

Hahaha @buzzed bait 17lbs was best 5 that trip. The river mainly is 3lbrs. The lake off the river are where the giants are but they will not hit topwater so I like to hit the river for explosive strikes.

Video of me skipping spro poppin frogs in killer gill color last year for bass way in the thick stuff. Rod of choice is a Powell inferno mag heavy frog rod and 65lb power pro braid. Brakes and tension loose as they can go and whip the frog as far under those low hanging trees as possible. In summer out here on the river bass will only hit way under the trees. Super fun times. Sorry quality isn't fantastic due to using my old go pro lol. Got some good slow motion blow ups as well.

Well figured I post a new boat post. Next would be a storage post lol. I have stored boats over winter before but before I had my wife to look after it and it was in my nice warm garage. So if I'm going g to leave here in Phoenix should I leave trickle charger hooked up for the next 7 months or should I take batteries out completely? I'm going to get a garage storage but not climate controlled. I know everything else I should do. Just wasn't sure about leaving charger hooked up for that long. Thanks!
