  1. yes. find a friend that knows what their doing and take them along. try to go out during the week when theres not a lot of traffic on the lake. what are you using as a gauge to find the "sweet spot" when youre trimming the motor?
  2. man, ive been all over some of the smaller kansas lakes in those little green plastic boats. i like them cept for one thing. there's not a lot of room in them. for that reason i would look for a 12' jon boat. a 12' jon will ride in the back of a truck and can be loaded/unloaded by yourself. plus after a few years the plastic cracks and breaks on the pond prowlers.
  3. i wonder if the gain of "supertuning" modern gear is worth the price? a professional cleaning makes a huge difference. if the average guy gets their freshly cleaned/supertuned gear back and thinks "Oh My God! this thing has never felt like this", does the cleaning or the supertuning get the credit for that never felt before smoothness?
  4. that post should be printed, read, and signed by all new forum members.
  5. where ever the bag lands when i toss the factory bag back into the storage bin.
  6. ive got more bad news..................it just gets harder.

  8. An unneeded yellow followed by Jimmie winning........ Keep scripting your races NASCAR, the empty seats at Bristol suggests that people are losing interest.
  9. a lot of those people are dressed as empty stands.
  10. i really like that rod as a shaky head rod. i assume a Curado 200 E7 would be a perfect match.
  11. no. id also ask them if their reputation is worth the shipping charges.
  12. anyone remember the last Dicks Coupon thread?.....lol
  13. I made a mistake it is actually a 7 foot berkley lighting rod im6 line weight test 10-25 and lure weight oz 1/4-1 1/4 what you have is a good "throw whatever" bank rod. lighter cranks and weightless plastics is a start. I forgot to say that The rod is a medium heavy does that change anything? not as far as im concerned.
  14. im going full homer and picking KU.

  16. Do you find it necessary to purchase all the depths? nope. id buy the 200 series to start, then as it gets hot buy the 300 series.
  17. You know, it might help to at least let us know what kind of motor you got. My lawn mower does the same thing sometimes and I just hit it with a hammer. Go ahead and try it on what ever the heck you got, couldn't hurt as far as we know. Is it even a boat? How the heck would we even know? Jeezzzzz. great post. works on multiple vehicles. probably works on dogs, cats, small children, and wives as well. 8-)
  18. yes. the Lowrider series is a timeless classic IMO.
  19. the brand and model of the rod would help. lure/line weight and such.
  20. what type of charges can be brought?
  21. that sucks. i hope you have some electric lakes you can fish until its put back together.
  22. id buy Bandit baits to start with. they work well and are cheap. 2 good baits right there.
  23. Falcon Original and Falcon Lowrider both have MM spinning rods i believe. ive never used a Lowrider spinning rod, but but ive used Lowrider casting rods. i have an Original spinning rod thats a great rod.
  24. i dont know a lot about these products, why should they be thrown away? i personally hold on to lines i dont like. the line can be used on reels im playing with. i can spool the reel full and see how said reel preforms and once im done i can spool said reel with the line i like to use. im no help on your other topics.
