id love for you to post a pic of the problem so i could see what youre talking about. ive never had a problem with Falcon rods or their customer service.

this could be the next big thing on the forum..... identify this reel in its disassembled state. that reel looks like a Daiwa of some sort.

ive never thought to send a rod in because i wasnt getting the casting distance i wanted. id think that the reel not sitting in the seat correctly would drive me nuts from the first cast and i assume id notice that in the store. another good reason to store fish rods before you buy them.

im not sure there is a truth about rods. ill tell you what i think but as soon as i do a poster will come along and disagree. to me the truth is, you either like them or you dont like them. i like the worm/spinnerbait rod i have but its never seen water.

id just drop the class. huge ego 101 is taught at most schools.

ive seen a few showings and the beatdown looks 100% real.

as far as i know a lot of rods are still made with this option.

thats my pick. when you guys say strike kick rattle trap youre not talking about the Red Eyed Shad are you? i killed the fish from the bank with that bait this year.

are Browning reels part of Pure Fishing Inc? i always assumed they were but now im second guessing myself.

im not knocking the driver, im grading her on what shes done to date in a stock car. IMO she has no business in a NW car, maybe a Truck, most likely the Trucks and nothing over 1 mile.

Danica at Daytona was dangerous. every time a there was a wreck in front of her all she could do was drive straight. that said Danicas last 30 laps at Daytona showed the racing world why she got a shot at the car. Fontana the only thing you can say is she got laps. she was definitely scared in the car. Vegas. 100% inexperience on her and Michaels part. IMO a great ride is being wasted on Danica while kids who have been in stock cars for years and have the talent to win in that car watch a sponsors dream get hyped. i give her a very low C-.

im not sure, but i dont think i can swim that fast. then theres trying to get back in the boat...

one thing i did do out of boredom was i did spool and drive shaft Orange seal bearings on an old Daiwa BW2. ive not messed with it at all yet but it should be interesting to see what the thing does.

i put Orange Seal bearings in my Sol and to be honest the difference really wasnt night and day. just playing around the yard doesnt tell the whole story but its not like a magic wand was moved across the reel. id do a good cleaning and re-lube and i bet you would be surprised how much better the reel performs.

still a huge fan of the 4500 - 4600 series for heavy jigs and big swim baits. on a side note, these are also very, very user friendly when learning to use a bait caster.

the BPS here hasnt carried the Sol for a while now. id look on ebay for the Sol.
