those Revos are known to be a pain to get the sideplate to rotate up. youll have to put some effort in the job.

that is a fine rod. many manufactures market a rod in that price range. id search the forum for posts on crank bait rods and read up.

to be fair, i never said it was a .22 i popped the stuck round out with a cleaning rod.

shooting at the range tonight and my son is shooting my Ruger MKII. if you own one of these you know they are great shooters and hardly ever fail to fire. the thing starts jamming once in a while, i assume it needs to be cleaned. No. im watching my son and instead of a "CRACK" when he fires, we get more of a "POP". the pic explains the rest.

what i was told is the frame is copied from pflueger, then stuffed with BPS parts. i think the frame is aluminum though...

hes put 3 rods/reels on the bottom of the lake. im not about to buy the kid good Daiwa gear. 8-)

Browning Medallion GT MD-25. this reel is a spitting image of the pflueger president. i liked everything about the reel with a problem. the thing as a whole felt sluggish.i opened the reel up to find the thing was packed full of grease. after a quick bath and a proper lube the thing works like a million bucks.

the right bearings in the right place mean everything. i have a BPS reel with 10 bearings and i think its a piece of crap. the Citica is a good pice.

you can do the same thing with grass hoppers. its a blast.

this year i have only used Pline Floroclear on the spinning gear i have. i like it for cheap line.

i assume because i suggested buying the same rod you broke. as far as i know Capt. Obvious doesnt make rods.

id go buy the same rod if you like it.
