those one green reels.........what are they again? they work as well or better than any Revo reel out there. (easy fellas, ive owned both for over a full season, and thats JMO)

Crocs also give good traction on your fiberglass boat. i used to like them but they made my feet sweat.

my explorer got better mileage over my F-150. in fact i might go back to pulling the boat with that truck full time.

the berkley lightning rod is a good low budget rod. many fish been swung in a boat with one of those.

id like to know what J Francho has to say about the topic. his info has been very solid. im also thinking a TD-Z handle is a bolt-on to the Zillion, which would be a decent upgrade for a smaller price.

Reel: Daiwa Sol Rod: Compre Crankbait Cast Rod 7' Medium, CPC-C70MB Falcon LowRider XG Cast 7' Medium, LFC-4-17 the Avid gets a lot of talk as far as cranking goes but i have never used one.

they break easy but catch fish after a hook change.

typicaly you can find good grounds to fish in bigger winds. smaller lakes are harder but bigger lakes offer many more points. go fish.

id also look at the Shimano Compre Spin Rod 6'8" Medium XFast. rated 3/16-5/8. i own one of these and they are one of the best $110 rods you can buy IMO.

Even this aspect is 95% user controlled. Any decent reel, if maintained properly, will last a lifetime. X2

debatable. I think lt. scrap is saying that just because you pay more for a rod does not mean its better. Some companies make $200 rods which are just as good a another manufactures $250 dollar rod. Makes sense to me. it is debatable. thats all i am saying.

my question is where is the help from his fellow boaters? if they really wanted to load their boat that bad, why not help they guy out? doing so would put their boat on the trailer faster....
