  1. hmmmmmm.... sounds a little suspicious to me. Kinda sounds like a story you would hear about on America's Most Wanted, or 20/20. Does your "Spare Room" happen to be your basement?? :-?
  2. Thanks for the offer but I would be coming home with an extra girl. And I don't want another headache. Bizz's girl is tiny.... she could fit in carry on. ;D California.... Early June..... a DD is possible. Send the girl to Cancun, and come fish on some good lakes.
  3. Thanks for the info guys. Btech - I've really considered pouring my own, but I don't see any real savinging yet. I guess if my search comes up empty I've always got that option. Right now I can make jigs for ~$1.40 by buying heads already poured. That includes jig heads, paint, skirts, epoxy, etc. It would probably cost more if I poured my own. Jimzee - That company looks promising, i'm going to give them an email... thanks man.
  4. For those on a budget, you might want to check these out. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewshimanovoltaeus.html To make it even better: "In an unprecedented move for the price point Shimano back's their line with a limited lifetime warranty on all rods in the Voltaeus lineup." Shoot... I might just get one for the heck of it. I do need a new trout rod.
  5. HAHAHA!!!!! Talk about a backfire..... Team Depends - 1 Team Pampers - 1
  6. I bought the BPS extreme for my dads first BC. I was very suprised at how well this reel felt for the money. If I "ever" had to buy fishing stuff on a budget, I would buy one of these.... i'm not even that big of fan of BPS.
  7. I started painting and tying my own jigs and am having a hard time finding one that I like along with a hook a like. I'm partial to Gammy's and Owners so that's what i'm looking for hook wise. I've looked at a dozen websites for DIY jigs. It seems the majority of them are Mustad hooks. So here is what i'm looking for : Football heads and arkie heads Owner or gammy round bend hook 3/8 - 1+ oz Unpainted No Skirt Anybody have any companies that they know of who have jigs that meet these specs. I've thought about pouring my own, but I don't see too much of a cost savings yet. Thanks guys.
  8. When I was looking for apartments, the one thing that was on the top of my priority list was 2 closets in the master bedroom. So now I'm able to dedicate one closet as the fishing closet that holds all of the goods.
  9. Looks at the new 4" baits from Spro, Tru-Tungsten. I've heard pretty decent things about them. Also try some soft baits from 3:16. I like the Minnows and mission fish. Mattlures baits are worth a look too. Stay away from the crappy little baits.... there a literally TONS of them out there.
  10. THE END IS NEAR!!!!! THE END IS NEAR!!!!!
  11. My 2009 Resolution is to NEVER make a New Years Resolution again.

  16. I can't help you too much, but I'd figure this is a good thread to brag on. My moms co-worker and her husband bought a brand new CA-King Simmons Beautyrest bed. It's one of those springless beds. 3 weeks after they bought it, they got a divorce. He left her the bed, but she didn't want to sleep on it since it reminded her of him. So she told me I could have it for free if I came and picked it up. It included all sheets, mattress topper, Comfortor, frame, and box springs.... all for free. they paid well over 2 grand for it, but I for one, am happy they got a divorce. I used to wake up with an aching back, but haven't since I got this bed. And being 6'6" it fits me very well. Is it worth 2-3 grand He!! NO!!! But was it worth the $10 in gas.... FOSHIZZLE!!!!!
  17. Well it sounds like the worst that could happen is you get to catch some catfish.
  18. And yours is the reason I'm exhausted and pass out as soon as I hit the pillow. ;D
  19. For some reason the spiderman song is stuck in my head.... "Spidertaint, Spidertaint, does everything a spider aint!!!"
  20. I own the Powell 704CB and beleive it's a great rod for small and medium divers. It can throw the deep divers, but not ideally. It's a 7' M with a Mod-fast action. It great for jerkbaits and lipless cranks as well.
  21. You and I both know the best way... Hit up Fourbizz on AIM. He will whine and complain non-stop about his life, his girl, what he is currently eating and drinking, his job, how he found a chocolate chip in his chocolate-chipless cookies.... You name it, he has an issue. I'm usually asleep in 3-4 minutes depending on the day he has had and whether or not the girl is at his place or at work. LMFAO!!!!! This is the funniest thing i've heard in along time. So true tin.... so true. it's like listening to an Emo tell a story about their day. And serioulsy.... a chocolate-chipless chocolate chip cookie. WTH!!!
  22. So.... the morel of the story is don't snort marabou cause you'll poop your pants??? :-/ :-/
  23. Nyquil for me too. It never makes me grogy in when I wake up either. Crown Royal..... on the rocks as well. MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
