  1. I very rarely fish water with spots, but after a night of heavy metal and a lot of head banging, me and "The Bizz" decided to hit the water. After NUMEROUS dinks under 1 pound for the both of us, I hooked up with a decent fish on the dropshot. She went 3-2 and a official new PB spot. After another handful of 1 pounders, I set into another good fish. She gave me a pretty good fight on the dropshot with 6# floro. She went 4-6 and another new "Respectable" PB spot. It made the trip worth wild and even better I was able to outfish bizz again (No jay, your 1/4 pounders don't count towards your total!!!!) ** Sorry for the bad pictures. Batteries went dead in the camera so I had to resort to the Camera Phone
  2. That the beauty of living on your own!!! No Women=1 Roll/month. I just finished up a 4pack that I bought 4 months ago when I first moved in. Lifes Great ;D

I have a fishing buddy that is really into it. Every trip he has his caches mapped out and we will stop at the ones that are close to the main road. It's kinda cool. It's like treasure hunting..... minus the million dollars in gold!!! :-? :-? :-?
  4. *Cough* *Cough* OCD *Cough* *Cough*
  5. They didn't STOP planting trout in cali. The DFG did stop planting some lakes for about a month, most lakes are now recieving their DFG trout stocking, depending on location. The CalTrout people watchdog the DFG stocking program closely to insure locations with "native trout" do not get planted trout stocks and this has been ongoing for decades. The current issue was a law suit by college students and that is still being processed. WRB I was being a smart@$$ .... He made it sound like they totally quit.... i'm aware of the situation ;D
  6. Go with the 7'6" Heavy. For all of these baits you listed, minus the 10"punker, it's a pretty sweet rod and will handle the baits well. I own the 7'6" Heavy paired with a cardiff 400 and throw half of the baits you listed on this rod. I love it.
  7. Denial.......... She just laid there, didn't she? LOL!!!! Bingo
  8. It must be a sign
  9. Denial.......... Jealousy...........
  10. With the crumbling economy, I had to get rid of the girlfriend so I can maintain a steady addiction to fishing.. probably spend a little more than last year. somewhere around 1000
  11. lol... no, it's more for recreation. It's just the lakes that have bass in them seem to enjoy eating them. That's why cali has giant bass... thanks to DFG
  12. Well muddy, it's definately going to take a toll on the big fish. Personally I don't think it's going to be right away, but eventually. As far as the world record chase goes, most of the big fish are from Southern California and it seems that they weren't hit as hard. The chase will still go on!!! What sucks is that it's going to hurt the towns as well. A lot of these tiny mountain towns rely on the summertime anglers for business. Some mountain counties got hit pretty hard... No fish=no anglers. Our state is so messed up it's ridiculous. The enviromentalists recently closed down a ton of our OHV riding areas as well, thus doubling the traffic to existing areas. It seems like they are doing the same thing with fishing, everyone is going to be crowding the same lakes and doubling the pressure. Welcome to California... I'm glad our fishing licenses are still going up!!!! ;D
  13. What a depressing thread!!! Nobody likes emo lol
  14. What's the weight of the baits your going to throw? I Would recommend the Loomis 955 or the Okuma Heavy. The loomis is perfect for baits around 3 oz like the wake jr. but will also throw an 8in hudd no problem. The Okuma 7'6" is a pretty sweet rod and i'm able to throw 6" hudd's and 7" triple trouts easily. Either one paired with a cardiff 300 would be a sweet setup. I guess it just comes down to your budget. Good Luck
  15. 3:16 soft baits (Mission Fish, Minnow, etc) 3:16 wake jr. 6in Hudd 7in M.S. Slammer Mattlures of anykind 8in Triple Trout 8in 2X4 Your welcome
  16. Pretty cool website a co-worker gave me. Check it out. http://bfads.net/
  17. Haven't used them. Why not spend an extra $25 and get a loomis? Or buy a Dobyns and then buy a couple swimbaits? Plus I don't like pink!!!
  18. Brian Regan for sure. I like his clean style of comedy. I go to comedy clubs a lot and the comedians that rag on the audience the whole time just get old. Don't get me wrong, it's funny as hell, but I think anyone can make fun of people, good comedians can come up with their own bits. Brian Regan isn't one of those comedians who lays down the "F" bomb 5 times in every sentence. He has bits that relate to everyday things. If you haven't heard of him, you should definitely check him out.
  19. X infinite..... don't do it!!!!!
  20. Don't quote me, but here in california i'm pretty sure it's illegal to use bluegill as bait. Do your research first!!!!
  21. Darn youngsters and your hippity hop music
