The Office
To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the office is one of my favorite shows, and it was still very funny, but for some reason I was a little disappointed, especially with it being the season premiere and all. Maybe i'm just mad that I had to wait so long for it to come back on.

Show me your tacklebox
Which one you want a pic off? Most people on this board have numerous bags. I take two with me, one is the Falcon V6 bag. And the other other is the BPS Extreme Backpack. I use the backpack for banking it and then i'll use both when i'm in the boat. Love both of them

Jig trailers?
I use Net Bait, I also use double tail grubs from yamamoto. I've also started using a custom mold jig trailer that is big and bulky.

Bass Fishing Cliches that you hate
A buddy heard this one from a show and I still get a crack everytime I hear it- If the sticks on the water are floating completely, the bite is hot, if the sticks are mostly submerged with only an end floating, the bite sucks. What if some are and some aren't???? Better throw at the logs that are floating

Do you recycle?
Used to when I lived with my parents, but the city that I live in now sorts and recycle's our stuff for us, cheaper rates than any city around us.

Using a jig with a 7" worm as a trailer?
This works, my dad stuck his PB on a 3/4 oz jig with a Brush Hog as a trailer, I gave him a hard time until he got his PB and the big fish of the night.

I'm still alive :-)
Well it was about time you retired the yota. Nice looking truck. That's crazy your using sturgeon as your summer alternative. You don't hear many californian's pick sturgeon for a alternative. Can't wait to see a pic when you get one though. I pulled in #30+ salmon so I could only imagine the fight with a 80# sturg. Good luck and glad your still alive.

What are some cheep, yet effective swim baits?
Very hard to find any good swimbaits under $10. Upgrade to $20 and you'll expand your horizon. Look at the 3:16 soft baits. The mission fish, mighty minnow, etc are great and effective baits. Mattlures baits are great as well. Swimbaits aren't cheap!@!!!!!!!

Which line for my new Citica 200E?
What I do on most of my reels is I use a mono backing, braid main line, then I use the leader of my choice. I don't have enough rod and reel combo's to cover all situations so this way I can change to whatever I want.

Mountain fly trip
Cool pics bud, can't believe you got your woman to go with you. She doesn't seem like the "Death Hike" type person. I'll have to stick you on some bigger brookies in october though. Nice story. Cough Cough.... Lagoon October 6.... Cough Cough

How to properly load your boat in the back of your pickup!!
Someone should tell him to strap it down before he goes anywhere, don't want the boat to get off center.

Drop shot line
Gotta agree with the other guys. Don't give it the Bill Dance Hook Set, just reel. I've had bad experience with dropshotting 6# test. I normally use 20-30 braid with a few feet of 8-10 Flouro.

Tru-Tungsten Matt & Ish True-Life Swimbaits
You think it might be possible that the you've just never seen a big girl in there because your offering hasn't been interesting to them? Tiny ponds hold bigguns allll the time, and are some of my favorite places to throw swimbaits. Not to mention that I catch a lot of 2-4lb class on swimbaits very regularly. It doesn't matter the size of a fish, i've had 3# LM completely engulf an 8" hudd, I've had 1# smallies attack a full size BBZ. I talked to a couple buddies that own them, They both said the one thing they don't like is that after a couple days of fishing, the paint is starting to come off, not just normal wear and tear from hooks and such. They suggested putting a coat of epoxy on it before you throw it to save the paint. Other then that they thought they where cool baits

What baits do you always tie on for an outing
3 are always the same: Wake Jr. Drop Shot Jig The other two rigs I tie on something related to the bite/weather/time of year.

Words Of Wisdom For Men
Save the ink man,....these lessons don't sink in till they are pounded in with a shoe, household appliance, ashtray or anything light enough for her to throw. Does an 8in hudd count. My ex threw a hudd at me once, good thing it was a ROF 5 so i didn't have a hook on it. Lets just say I violated #4. At the time, I though it was an invitation... I was wrong

What kind of area would you work a jig from shore?
Don't fish jigs from shore much, but I remember the last time I did was during a major cold front. Fished them in open areas around weed lines, didn't really matter what depth. Stuck fish. Hopefully some guys will chime in with some good answers.

P-Line CX vs. Berkley Trilene Big Game
I use 25# big game for my swimbaits. Not a big fan, will probably try something different when I need to re-spool. I use CX for backing!!!!
