I bought a Columbia waterproof jacket a couple years back and have noticed this year that it isn't very waterproof anymore. What do you guys use to re-waterproof them?

Well my camera finally took a dump on me and i'm looking for advice on getting a new one. I don't need fancy, something AROUND the $150 mark. Anyone have one that they like?

Also try stuff that moves alot of water. Big worms, brush hogs, etc. It doesn't have to rattle, although it definately helps. I've caught fish while dropshotting a 5-6" bait at night.

I waited along time for a trip like this. Didn't know it was going to happen. This was from my trip that I caught my PB on awhile back. The night before the trip, I had a dream I was going to catch a new PB, but in that dream, it didn't happen 5 times. This was basically the best bass fishing trip i've ever been on. Absolutely frickin unbelievable for me. I had my best bag ever, 35-1. All fish on the same single bait. It absolutely wore me out. The only other time fishing has been so hard was halibut fishing. Wrists and arms were ready to fall off, hands bleeding , it was great. My old pb was 5-8. Here goes - 6-0 6-3 6-13 7-0 9-1 EPIC!!!!!!! Along with those, i caught a - 3-9 3-11 4-0 4-4 4-5 4-6 4-15 that I didn't feel like editing. One of many things I learned from this trip is to never stop till your loading up the boat. Hands bleeding, arms feeling like jello and ready to fall of, I was getting packed up ready to go load up the boat, but I decide to hit one last point by the ramp, 2 casts later, stuck my 9. It's always the last cast. ;D

Very well put chris. Some of these guys with tourney boats are spending $200 to just fill up their boats. THat would absolutely kill me. I'm happy with my 88 nissan 4 banger and my 16ft fiberglass with a 35hp. Even this setup is still costing me about $80 a trip including entrance. When gas hits $4 it's going to kill me!!!! The bummer about a small boat is that you can always get a 101 trolling motor, but you can't increase how it handles those 3-4 swells. It can get scary at times.

I had this problem about a month ago. I remember seeing the google ad in the status bar. It was never a problem that happened at the same time everyday. I always re-format my hard drive every 6 months or so, just to clear everything out. After doing this, I have never had this problem again. The site doesn't hang up at all. Wierd.

Hi and welcome aboard. Can't help with the seats, but the carpeting I can. It isn't hard as long as you set aside a day or two and take your time. I bought the kit from BPS and did it myself. It took more prep time than anything. It may not look like a pro did it, but i'm fine with that, It looks good though. Good luck

Let me start off by saying i am NOT , nor anywhere close to, an expert of swimbaits. I've been throwing them for a year, but have spent the last 6 months or so only throwing big baits. From my experiences, they can be used year round, but I have had most of my success pre-spawn. This is not to say they don't work during spawn, or post spawn, I'm sure they will still get you bites. Everybody has told me that swimbaits will get you quality, not quantity, which has served true, considering ALL of my PB's have been caught on SB's. When I first started throwing them i was using a 3:16 mighty minnow. This is one that if fished to fast, will roll on you. In my experience, the hardbaits I have used are able to swim faster then soft plastic. Triple trout, spro BBZ, 3:16 wake jr can all be swam at a decent speed. To answer your questions, I don't catch them consistantely, but usually when I throw them, I am fishing for quality not quantity, so I already am aware that I may only get 1 bight all day long. The key to fishing them is PRACTICE and PATIENCE!!! Just when you think you are getting to know how to fish swimbaits, you have only begun to scratch the surface. My last 4 trips i've thrown nothing but big baits, and found that there is MUCH MUCH MORE than just throwing out and reeling in. The bait can do so much more when you actually now how to fish it right!!! Oh yea, and be careful, swimbaits are ADDICTING and can cause you SERIOUS debt. Good luck.

Do a search for braid. It has been discussed a lot. I'm a big fan of suffix, I don't like the waxy feeling of some of the other braids out there. Suffix hasn't let me down.
