  1. I either use these... or real crawdads. Anything else fails in comparison.
  2. LMAO... Amador trout should not be considered trout at all. I would MUCH rather catch a 10" native brown out of a small creek then catch a 6# "trout" at Amador. But yes... I do agree with your point.
  3. No surprise there, the great republic of California is #46
  4. I've had the oppurtunity to talk to him once. But only for 10 minutes. This guy is an absolute stick!
  5. Of course not... personally, I enjoy just scooping them with a net. I find my most productive time of year is during the spawn. They are easier the catch when their stationary.... Or to ensure they don't feel pain you can just spear them.. :-X Joking aside, very good points on this thread. I think the big no no when holding them vertical is angling them slightly. As long as they are 100% vertical I don't see the problem.
  6. If I were you I'd specify what gender you would like... just saying.... :-/ the guys on here are weirdos. Chances are you'd get a fat male blowup doll with big ole' man boobies and a blonde wig... Just watching your back ;D
  7. He sold me his old boat... so it was only fair. I don't feel at all bad for him. Crap for Crap!!! ;D

  9. Pretty impressive fish for that lake. Figured the only fish above 2.5#'s were the carp lol. BTW - I'm ready for some big spots on DS!!! Lets go hit the underwater bridge soon... It's about time.
  10. I'm sure glad I got rid of that POS before winter came around. Sucks to be you lol. The no heater thing sucked during those chilled summer nights, couldn't imagine now. And there is NO difference between HIGH and LOW on the windshiled wipers. I am convinced that the two positions are to comfort the driver lol. My parents live a little higher than Jay, and the got 13 inches. In the 17 years they have lived there the most they have gotten is 5inches. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Even at 200 feet in elevation, I got snow in Roseville, CA. The picture is the top of my car. Sure would love to have a day off in the snow!
  11. Couldn't have said it better... Gotta agree with everybody else. My first one I set the hook and missed the fish but came back with no body to the bait, just a chunk of lead and some metal... :'(
  12. Just saw it last night. Didn't realize it was a true story as well. Great movie overall. Definately worth the price of admission. I also agree that Sandra is like fine wine... never been a fan but she kept my attention
  13. Sensitivity Better hookups when DS'ing deep
  14. I vote to take your mancard away Chimays are some pretty rough beers. Drank a bottle of that at a party, plus loosing in beer pong twice and I was NOT a happy camper for the next 24 hours. 21. Haha... Fourbizzle looks shorter when he's drunk. He reminds me of a turtle that is stuck on it's back. Funny stuff. Thanks for the laugh ;D
  22. I too work in sac and that was an epic storm. I kept an eye on the dopplar all day at work and never saw a clearing Just green with giant red and yellow patches across the whole state. I-80 East bound into roseville wasn't too bad accident wise but pretty scary driving with 55+ MPH winds and typhoon rains. I think that was the worst of it. At least folsom is back on the rise right ;D
