  1. This is what I do. I also spray it on the filler spools if I'm not going to re-spool immediately.
  2. There was a 30incher caught in MD yesterday. Big girl. http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/news/local/042309_snakehead_fish_threat
  3. Congratulations 1instripes
  4. x2. Awesome fish!
  5. Last night when you posted this, I checked it out and it kept refreshing the same pictures. Must be my computer because it seems ok now
  6. Congrats man! I've been thinking of getting one as well.

  8. I've had a few blue herons hover above my wake bait to the point I had to really crank it down so they wouldn't dive in after it. I was also wading this small creek last year when I noticed something swimming towards my feet. I couldn't make it out but I thought it was a large carp or something. I didn't notice until it was a foot away from me that it was a HUGE beaver. Lucky he didn't whack me with his tail.

    WTG T-Rig. Congrats!
  10. Takes money to make money. :
  11. I use this stuff for scratched CD's/DVD's. Might work for lens scratches.
  12. Pitch it to cover and watch your line. After your first fish you'll gain confidence. Good luck
  13. Looks like an awesome day! Glad to hear the water temp is rising. I was just at Dick's Sporting Goods and had to pick up a pack of those space monkeys. They're a little expensive but, if they are anything like the toads they should be killer. Plus, now they have the coffee scent!
  14. Congrats KY!
  15. You may be putting too much on. Also, fresh line will usually jump off the reel a little until its starts to retain the shape of the spool.
  16. I went to Dick's yesterday and almost picked up a pack but, $9 for three? Ouch.
  17. ;D I do like the real bass one though.
  18. Thats a fatty right there! Looks like a fun time.
  19. True that, thanks for the heads up. I've been lazy and I should be taping up my pant legs at least. I'm pretty good about looking for them when I get home. I believe it takes up to 24 hours for the transmission to occur, So it's the tiny nymphs you gotta be careful of. They're really hard to see sometimes.
  20. Thanks for the comments guys!
  21. The leaves on the trees and plants haven't started growing much yet so its not too bad. Once you get off of the beaten path though, you may have to deal with some nasty thorn bushes. As for the ticks, I did find a few on me. Not as bad as it was last fall.
  22. Well after my third trip out since it started getting warmer, I finally hooked into something. I headed out to the reservoir in Ashburn around 8:00. I started at the dam and worked my way back to more shallow water as the day got warmer. Caught my first one right around 12:30 on a megabass cyclone, and about an hour later this one ate a 1/4 ounce jig with a tiny brush hog trailer. Hope everyone else took advantage of the nice weather. Tight lines.
  23. Like these? ;D ;D
