  1. If you have 3g's to spend there is no reason not to get a used Tracker or Fisher. You can find them anywhere I picked up my 97 17' Tracker Pro team with a 40 HP Merc and 40 something lb/thrust Motor Guide, and all new batteries for just a hair over 3g's.
  2. Lol, I met John Crews and towered over him, I think he is about 5'5".

Frank's My mom makes a dip for chips or crackers with cream cheese, hot sauce, and chunks of chicken. There should be a part of the food pyramid for it.
  4. A massive group of two-strokes ready to run to their favorite hole first thing in the morning.
  5. Not sure, but you could. I know they did it with some fluoro's and the results were the same, they all break above the number on the box.
  6. All depends on the application. Jigs, Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, Heavy T-Rigs: 15 lbs plus braid or fluoro Cranks and treble hooked baits: 10 lbs mono
  7. x2, I want to see a bigger fish than the one in your avatar. ;D Have fun and be safe.
  8. Not just edges and holes in the grass but anything that strikes your eye as irregular in the grass line. Such as a small cluster away from the line, a point in the grass, a different type of grass mixed in. It is just like pitching and flipping docks or timber. You just need to learn to read the grass as you would a dock or laydown.
  9. I have been reading up on line lately and just because it says that it breaks at 8 pounds or 10 pounds doesn't mean it does. Bass and Walleye Boat magazine did an article with line strengths and such and some 10 pound lines break at up to and over 18 pounds. Line strength is usually under estimated rather than over estimated. Trilene is one of those companies. After reading this I would be more concerned about diameter and how it acts on your reel. So I would go with the 8 personally.

  12. My dad and I have "recycled" tons of old senko's. We used two-piece aluminum mold and they came out perfect.
  13. Atleast once a week, it's called PREFISHING. lol I will usually goose egg as soon as the ice goes out/inand the water is in the upper 30's. That is when I just can't put them in the boat. Sounds crazy but I'am usually best when everyone else is blanking during th brutal spring cold-fronts.
  14. I don't see anything about it being discontinued on there, does that mean were safe? The monkey says you should stock up on them just in case!!!! I'am just in case. 8-)
  15. Where are all the pics of Cobee largies? lol
  16. Haha Jean-Luc Picard.
  17. That's it? I was expecting that 10 pound smallie. :-/ lol Nice fish dude.
  18. Absolutamundo!!!!!! 8-) You could also put another trailer hook on the trailer hook. So you have two of them on the bait. I used to do it on my buzzbaits and spinnerbaits for smallies, now I do it all the time. There is also no need for 2 hooksets imo. It could be one of the reasons you are loosing fish, just a ripping a big hole and the hook is falling out. As mentioned above only drill them when you feel the fish. Also, keep the rod tip DOWN.

  24. 8' hard cardboard tube with a plastic cap duct taped on, and packed tight with a lot of newspaper at the top and bottom so the rod can hardly move in the tube. Have not had one bust yet.
  25. Hair jigs or jerks. Good luck
