Yup, they like to do that. In Pittsburgh in 2005 in all the stuff that didn't air on TV they had Trip Weldon explain to the audience 3 times on the final day what would happen in the event of a tie. They love to play games with peoples heads.

The last report from Charlie was a loooooooooooong time ago. He only had a small keeper, he is listed about 11-13 pounds back of Alton. It's tough today, no current what so ever.

They always do, like yesterday. So you watch it on TV lol.

This is one tough puzzle to figure out. I will usually just find a creek or backwater area with some grass and timber and break out the jig-rod. But at certain times when those tides are coming in or going out I will fish the main river.

Anyone else always have to watch this show whenever it is on? Some great fighter plane stories and I really like how they re-create all the battles.

I hate to say it but an average in RI means nothing. Don't know if you remember but last year a few times one weekend it would take 30 pounds to win on a lake and the next weekend it would take 10. Some other lakes all you need to win is a limit. Where as on Stafford or Watchaug some days a limit of 2.5-3 pounders won't get you the win. Too many variables. But last year my average fish in a tourney was 2.27 I had a lot of 4+ fish last year. My average in fun fishing was just under 2.5. This year I need to change those around. Hopefully the swimbaits will help that out.

If I remember right someone (Hawg Caller??) posted test results about bass not being effecting by scent and even hitting baits soaked in gas??? :-/
