  1. FYI 350 in a Chevy is a 5.7 Bullet proof I thought it was a 5.7 too. :-? Ok not just me.
  2. My local tackle guy. I had a $600 order from ***.com that contained almost a hundred Terminator Pro Top Secret Jigs. And all came with regular sillicone skirts not the Air Alive skirts like EVERY OTHER terminator jig comes with. I sent an email and never got a response. >
  3. Wow, I must have been really tired after work, I meant a 3" Husky Jerk.
  4. I'm no expert either but I dont let my jigs fall on slack. As soon as the jig hits the water I engage the reel and make sure there isnt too much slack. I do this for 2 reasons, one I'am usually fishing very shallow water and two because 90% of my hits come on that initial fall, some a split second after the jig hits the water. I want a small amount or no slack line so I can get a good hookset. I cant use a longer rod either because when I'am throwing jigs I'am usually skipping them under cover. Just my .02 cents.
  5. Thats one of the few trucks that will run for a long time. Probably worth the money to just fix it imo. Edit: Just called one of my uncles, he has an early 90's 1500 that he has kept perfect and it is up to 197k
  6. That is brutal. New England has open water, I'm sure you guys are only a month or two away. Until then, BassResource will keep you busy.
  7. I just brought all the cans and bottles to Connecticut to get a nickel a piece for them, now I can buy another Carrot Stick ;D
  8. Hey Alpster, we will trade, you come up here as long as you bring my dad down there. He needs to get out of the garage. The house smells like burning plastic from all the senkos he has been cooking and I think the fumes are beginning to affect him.
  9. About a 3' pointer has landed me the most fish, some big ones over 4 pounds too. But the 78dd is a close second.
  10. I plan on catching some smallies in a muddy river pool this afternoon after school. 8-)
  11. Probably the most painful lesson you can learn in tournament fishing. Everyone is always bs'ing so you should always weigh whatever you got. I have seen 20 bot tournies up here won with one fish for over two pounds. Never assume anything.
  12. I have had to use the hot water trick to get an icecube off my bulldog's tongue.
  13. I have been addicted to college b-ball this year and can't wait for this game. But I don't know if it will be better than that Duke/UNC game a few weeks ago. :-/
  14. You forgot Davy Hite who won it focusing on the herring a couple years ago at Clarks Hill.
  15. Tin replied to beechnut's topic in Smallmouth Bass Fishing
They will hit any type of jig whether it is silicone, rubber, or hair. I have found that smallies in rivers like hair jigs the best, but in lakes I go to a 1/4 oz Terminator Pro Top Secret in Western Melon or Skeets Secret with a black Paca Chunk for the trailer. My second choice would be a PB&J colored football jig dragged down rocky banks or points.
  16. Derek Remitz, Casey Ashley, Mike McClelland, Aaron Martens, and KVD of course.
  17. Thats what the midget ended up getting arrested for. Anyone know what happened to the hampster?
  18. A turkey, mayo, and cranberry sandwich on a big bulkie roll with BBQ chips. I can live off of it. Darn I'm hungry now. :
  19. Aaaay : I would like to know what he did wrong though.
  20. Carrots Stix are the way to go, as Ben said, a 6"9 parabolic.
  21. Thats what I thought too Dean, I just didn't want to be a smart ___.
  22. Until I watched the smilies I thought you were talking about that Skynyrd song. ;D
  23. Small husky jerks, silent lipless cranks, 1/4 jigs, 1/8 shakey heads, and maybe a swimbait or two
