  1. WOW! Never heard of that. Definatley gonna have to try that out.
  2. A skippin rod for tubes and senkos? Drop-shot/Finesse rod? For 3/8 oz jigs or lighter and Football jigs a 6'8"-7'3" MH?
  3. x2 Nothing against them but thats why I stopped buying them. Got sick of playing with Suspendots and such. I would rather spend the $9 for a product I know suspends and has better color options. It is the only LC bait I will through out the money for, there suspending jerkbaits are second to none.
  4. Almost everything has ice on it here, the lakes are not all ice but all the boat ramp areas are atleast. More snow Weds too :
  5. LMAO! I guess I was way off on that. Didn't have a package with the spelling of it nearby and thats I how I thought it was pronounced. Use New Englander's cant talk right anyhow.
  6. 50 degree water. Sorry. In a lot of RI lakes most fish winter at the end of long shallow points that have a real drop at the end of them. And as soon as the water gets out of the 30's and the 40-50 degree range they move up onto the top of that drop on the point, all I do is just throw the jerkbait around that drop and hang on.

  8. past tense? why dont you like it anymore? It was never seen again after a day of 4 footers on Watchuag. lol
  9. Whenever I find bait stacked upat the end of a point in water under 50* I go to a jerkbait. Either a Pointer 78DD or a good old Husky Jerk. As for motions, let the fish tell you. My most productive is the 3 fast snaps followed by a couple second pause. But some times pause longer, snap it slower, or dont snap it at all, reel it down to its maximum depth and pause it, then reel a little pause.

Love those Crazy Crawlers I use to have an all glow in the dark one an it was all I used to thorw when I wa night fishing, wish I could find one again. Never had an issue with the flaps. Comes back like a jitterbug but it kind of wobbels up and down where as the bug goes side-to-side. Definatley a weird bait. Still love them though.
  11. 1/4 oz. Terminator Pro Top Secret all trimmed up with a Netbait Baby Paca-Flippin Blue
  12. They should have have had two people throwing the same color spinnerbait and blade combos, only one with an e-chip. That would have been a better idea to see if that "e-chip" thingy is a gimmck or not.
  13. Ben Matsubu won the wildcard last year and won his first Elite series event this year, hopefully Byron will be able to do the same.
  14. Is that "juvenile sasquatch" mooning the camera?
  15. Definatley go with a cylander weight or good old Bonk-U-Dong weight. As far as the bait, a lot of people drop-shotting for smallies in the Northeast are starting to swear by the Berkely Gulp Leech. But a small worm or slim senko will do the trick as well.
  16. Ok found it, Bassmaster Times summer of 06-cant remember which month Bass fishing has a highest growth rate in retail sales, golf is first. So since the amount of anglers is dropping and the rate of retail sales is growing=Baitmonkey is happy because we are just spending more money. Depressing a 12% drop in anglers :'(
  17. There QB Colt Brennan is amazing! They are byfar the most under-rated team in the country.
  18. So there are less anglers but we are spending more $$$$?
  19. On top of things as always, thank you.
  20. 4 yrs of witness protection, ......wasted. Thanks Bizz : 8-) ;D LMAO, you did the right thing redline. They were straddeling that line though. Now if they approach or start talking to her, well...
