  1. ROFL That is a great story Man I might have to make the drive down there for the next trip sounds like a really fun time!
  2. Last time I checked this isn't Jonestown and I am not drinking the catch and release Kool-Aid I do not eat any bass but because most places I fish are right next to saltwater with crabs and other great seafood. And anything will taste good with Old Bay on it ;D I am not gonna get mad at some one if they if not do anything illegal. If it is in the legal limit go for it, the limits there for a reason.
  3. $798 50 inch plasma t.v., just had to knock a few people down :
  4. The only problem I see is if the houses are right on the water. So you would have to fish on people's backyards. If not I do not see any reason to be sad. If anything less people will fish it now that it is private. Also I do not think many people will fish it from the community, people always forget about the places closest to them You just have to get permission and your set.
  5. 10 inch Gambler ribbontail worm junebug T-rigged with little to no weight and deadsticked with 11/0 owner Gambler Canetoad in Firetoad or Green pumpkin swirl 5/0 Monster hook by gamakatsu Zoom Trickworm junebug w/ 1/16 oz weight and 3/0 straight shank deadsticked
  6. You don't need a expensive rod for cranking. Bass Pro and Cabelas sell cranking sticks for 20-30 dollars. . But if you want a real nice cranking sticks Carrot stick make a 6'9'' and a 7'3'' model. The new curado E7 is a great reel though and is at a very good price for what you get from it. I would suggest buying a 20-30 dollar cranking stick and a something like a falcon original or lowrider model rod for worms/jigs
  7. I don't know, just bought a Hyper Speed Zillion for 260. Pretty good deal, and I saw Revo STXs for 160 and Curados for 150. Some nice deals on there.
  8. That's not a largemouth but if you make the hike to lake Texoma, Texas they have smallmouth there
  9. Please do your self a favor and buy the Legend Tournament Bass Big Jig rod instead. More backbone, better for casting distance, and better for setting the hook from afar. Also you get A LOT more rod for only 10 dollars more Now I do not think you will have an issue with 7'3'' length being unwieldy but if you think so buy the Carrot stick LTX 7ft extra heavy rod. Lot a backbone while still having the ability to make long casts. IMO it can outperform the St. Croix Slop-n-frog rod for 90 dollars cheaper too!(but the carrot stick would not out perform the 7'3'' XH )
  10. Curado E7 it has a 7.0.1 gear ratio. For frogging all you need is a fast ratio, I would rather have a 7.0.1 Bass Pro extreme reel than a 6.4.1 Steez. So any high speed reel will do.
  11. Thought you'd like that referance ;D Oh and he did that as his main shtick, would he have sold out the garden twice if he was a little jewish boy from Brooklyn or made the millions of dollars he made? I don't think so
  12. Wasn't saying that Williams copied his act, I was just comparing him to an 80s comedian that has is similar. Also it is customary to copy a good act so do not know why you took it that way Also think about Dunham's jokes, all just stereotypes. If I wanted to see stereotype comedy, I would see the guy who basically invented it. Andrew Clay
  13. Yeah and he is shtick-ier than Woody Allen in Chinatown.
  14. That is a higher being telling you to stop being a senko chucker ;D
  15. You shouldn't be talking you said Robin Williams, his bits are very similar to vintage Howie Mandel :-/ What is more surprising than the Dane Cook responses to me is the Jeff Dunham ones You guys really think he's good? He would be on my list of worst comedians For me in no order it's Bill Hicks, Sam Kinison, Lenny Bruce. Oh and I like Sam Kinison's nemesis
  16. VERY good value. Small, light, fast everything you want in a reel for only $180(less on ebay). I do not think it can be beaten at that price range.
  17. hahaha so true! :-/ >
  18. I hope that the original author gets a lot of the 10,000 dollars from it, so funny! The guy auctioning it shouldn't get anything. Half to charity half to the author.
  19. no longer in general use facial
  20. No, grass beds located away from the shoreline Also in coves (depending on depths) bass can spawn in the middle of it. Do not know if that answers your question or not, but hope it helps.

All I can think of is that the bullet weight is more streamlined than a shaky head. :-/
  22. Yup crown Tin or should I say King ;D
  23. Too funny, this is getting good. I am in and am anxiously awaiting our song choice
  24. 4-5 inch senkos, fish get conditoned to them. Bring out bigger stuff I love throwing an 11 inch trick worm........
  25. IMO wacky rigging senkos work best in cold water or post cold front during the spawn. For all other times you will catch bigger fish T-Rigging a variety of plastics. I also think fish get conditioned to wacky rigged senko chucking more than any other plastic bait presentation. I think WayneP. might come on and disagree with me but I know most of his success is with finesse and trickworms, great baits that are hard to condition bass with. I think wacky rigging(senkos) is much different than other plastic rigs and is more of a reaction bite technique and that traditonal C-rigs/t-rigs do NOT condition bass or minimal at best.
