  1. Either way a paddle tail worm is old news You can get them at most tackle shops in a variety of colors and sizes I like Gamblers Flapping Daddy.

  3. phhhh that tournament doesn't matter. Now you catch a nice limit next sunday during the Gaston tournament then you'd be in business.
  4. If you can get an older clarus rod get the 7ft heavy one. I have it and it is an excellent rod. Strong, good taper, and sensitive enough for t-rigging. Great for any plastic bait t-rigged, never tried throwing jigs on it but I am sure it would work well. I haven't tried this rod but a Shimano Compre seems like a very good deal. A little more expensive than a clarus but looks like a good rod. the 7ft Medium heavy extra fast rod will throw what you want to throw Senkos, flukes, jigs, spinnerbaits, t-rigs etc.

  10. Same I have had some bites and hook ups swimming a pumpkin w/black and green flake colored 4 incher on a regular no-frills jig head during prespawn and early spawn period never landed one though nothing big 1.5 lbs or less, the big 6inch ones interest me, I might try these out weightless or t-rigged with a little bullet weight to see what I get
  11. Tell that to Lenny Bruce or Bill Hicks :
  12. drag?? If your using a baitcaster tighten it all the way down and keep your thumb on the spool as much as possible, nothing should be taking drag keep reeling til the fish is in the boat This works alot better with braid
  13. that sucks but do not beat yourself up they always look bigger when you lose them at the boat. That doesn't sound too bad you do not have to go to a counselor like Matt Strykul....yet ;D ;D ;D

  25. Why trutungsten? Listen to Burley. Tungsten cuts right through braid. Tru Tungsten uses a very nice coating to protect your line. The plastic inserts in cheaper tungsten weights can fall out, allowing the tungsten weight to cut the braid
