  1. SD always gets off to a slow start. They'll get it together (at least for the regular season).
  2. Oil in Alaska will take a lot longer to evaporate than oil in the Gulf. I think there will be some impact, but not as severe as what happened with the Exxon spill.
  3. They are taking over the mountain lakes in southwest NC. They are fun to catch, but I would rather catch the Smallmouth they are displacing.
  4. Chargers: Great regular season, first round bye, lose their first playoff game. Same as every year. :
  5. Nope, you're right. :-/
  6. I would be if I was at the OBX. The projected path looks a little too close for comfort...
  7. good post of that video !!! they seem to have the same fall as a Senko !!! thanks It looks like the Senko has more wiggle to me...
  8. Welcome from near High Point. 8-)
  9. Owner Shaky Ultrahead, 3/32 oz.
  10. 1/8th oz. Panther Martin in-line spinner.
  11. I've fished both the Johnny Morris Signature Series and GLX models. The Johnny Morris is a nice rod and has good sensitivity, but the GLX outperforms it by a good margin, IMO.
  12. Zoom WEC Sweet Pea.
  13. Black Owner ST36 trebles. Red trebles loose their color quickly and are unnecessary IMO. Sizes 4 and 6 are what I normally use. Occasionally I'll use size 2 for very big baits and size 8 for very small ones.
  14. This doesn't mean it's thinner. What Daiwa considers an average 8 lb. diameter line is probably different than what Cortland considers as an average 8 lb. diameter line. It may be thinner, but it will be hard to tell since Cortland doesn't provide the actual diameter of the braid.
  15. Pizza Hut.
  16. The Dobyns Champion Extreme rods are very nice. I've owned both Champion Extremes and GLX rods and they are very close in performance IMO. Those are the key words in that sentence. Most would agree that while the Johnny Morris rods are nice, they aren't equal to the GLX.
  17. But the lure doesn't project the light source out like a laser pointer. The light only illuminates the bill for the most part. I'm not saying it works, I just don't think it's the same as a laser pointer. I guess to me the light "shines" more than "points". That's true. But my point is that whatever is interested in the light isn't interested in the source of the light, but the light that is emitted.
  18. But the thing is, the bass, dogs, and cats are chasing the red dot that the laser makes, not the source of the light (the laser pointer or Laser Lure). The lures are good quality and I'm sure they will catch fish, but I doubt the laser itself provokes many bites.

Bass fishing isn't a team sport. The format is different then the NFL season. Comparing the Elite Series to the NFL is apples vs oranges.
  20. That combo is really yours? The exact same pictures were posted by a user on TT on a thread you responded to. http://www.tackletour.net/TTForums/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=52424 :
  21. Nice Shellcracker. 8-)
  22. The Classic is more prestigious, especially considering the current AOY system.
