  1. It isn't just Skeet. It would be pretty difficult to win consistently if an Elite Series angler could only throw their sponsor's lures.
  2. A medium power, moderate action rod to throw light to medium weight treble hook lures.
  3. What a bad format for Angler of the Year. Congrats to KVD, but BASS (read ESPN) needs to rethink this system....
  4. I've got a 5 Reichsmark coin from 1937 with a Swastika on it. I don't pick it up much, you never know, Hitler might have used it.....
  5. Looks like I switched to Dobyns just in time...
  6. I fish the Giron the same way I fish a walk-the-dog type bait. Fish it fast enough where it stays just under the surface and darts back and forth. I've had the best success fishing it this way.
  7. It would be tough for someone as young as you to get sponsored by any of the big reel companies, so I wouldn't let that influence your decision. Either a Citica or a Revo S would be a great choice. Most people who actually own a Citica would say that it's a good reel, and the same could be said for the Revo S. It all comes down to which feels better to you.
  8. I think he's referring to a swept handle on a baitcaster.
  9. I saw that as well. Maybe the rule doesn't apply to the markets in China Town?
  10. The Alphas Type F is 1.2 ounces lighter and has two more bearings than the Sol.
  11. Edited. Wrong info.
  12. Trokars are made by Eagle Claw. Owners are my favorite, I used Gamakatsus until the points started bending too often.
  13. It just depends on who the NCAA feels like investigating....
  14. Originally posted by Paul Roberts: Largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) learn to avoid feeding on toad (Bufo) tadpoles Kipp C. Krusea and Bradford M. Stonea aDepartment of Zoology, Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois 61920, USA Received 14 July 1983; revised 30 November 1983. MS. number: a4130. Available online 3 June 2006. Abstract Largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides), when starved for 1 day, almost totally abstain from eating toad (Bufo americanus and Bufo woodhousei) tadpoles. However, there is a positive relationship between bass hunger levels and the acceptability of Bufo larvae as food items. With experience, there is a decrease in the number of toad tadpoles engulfed (taken into the mouth), and that actually consumed by the bass, while the number of larvae expelled (spat out) increases. Bass strongly prefer Hyla crucifer tadpoles to B. americanus larvae, and learn to distinguish between the two species. These results agree with the hypothesis that the schooling behaviour found in B. americanus tadpoles functions, at least in part, as a deterrent to predation.
  15. That might have been due to the fact that they were your "pets" and were in a glass tank without much choice.
  16. The Spot Removers are good quality jigheads. 6 or 8 pound line would be better for fishing shaky heads since Yo-Zuri is pretty thick.

  18. X2. Dont they have to dig down deep to put in concrete or something like that? The article says that the hull is south of where the towers stood.
  19. The trailer. The skirt isn't very important IMO.
  20. Diawa has been very disappointing the last couple of years. Too many Zillion variants and not enough new freshwater reels.
  21. The EPL season starts in 33 days. It's much better soccer than the World Cup.
  22. I agree! Ozil just looked awful compared to previous games. I even heard an announcer say how nervous he looked walking on to the field... It's got to be tough to keep your nerves under control when you're that young and playing in a World Cup semifinal. He did show his talent and potential in the earlier games though. I'm just hoping Manchester City can make a deal for him before some other team does.
