  1. You need to consider the diameter of the line since each company rates their lines differently. You might only be able to use Company X's 10 lb. line on a spinning reel, but if using Company Y's, you might be able to go up to 12 lb.
  2. They have been out for a few years.
  3. You get what you pay for in this case. In my experiences, Vicious has a lot of memory, poor strength, and casts poorly. Stick with Trilene.
  4. Strike King has a great marketing department. Does the color catch bass? Yes. Any better than similar shad patterns? Not in my experiences.
  5. The Pointers I've fished all suspend horizontally.
  6. I had Ostrich, it was pretty good.
  7. Steer clear of Matzuo.
  8. Sunline FC Shooter Sunline FC Sniper Seaguar InvizX
  9. When did they start making labtops?! ;D That's how they say laptop in Rhode Island. Figures, yankees. : No, that is New York. If we really were an island we would probably be our own country. We call everyone from the North "yankees". There is no reason to do business with BPS unless you want one of their house brand products. Even during their "sales", you can find a better deal somewhere else.
  10. Summer. Many more countries compete and the events are more interesting to me.
  11. In early spring, flat side crankbaits usually produce better than round cranks. This time of year I like to throw a Lucky Craft Flat Mini SR in the muddy ponds I fish. It has a tight wiggle so it doesn't put off too much vibration, but it has a rattle so the bass are still able to find it.
  12. Fluorocarbon can work on spinning gear, you just need to use a supple line such as Sunline FC Shooter or Seaguar InvizX.
  13. Lucky Craft Pointer Jackall Squad Minnow The only models I need.

    These should work:
  15. It doesn't matter how they perform as long as he can get as many replacements as he needs.
  16. Flick Shake Flat Side Crankbait Suspending Jerkbait
  17. Spro Aruku Shad, even though it's a knockoff.
  18. The discount you get is based on the cost of the reels you purchase. The reels that BPS gets in the trade in are donated to youth, so it doesn't matter how much the reel you donate retails for. It only matters that it still works.
  19. This is the BMF hook, manufactured for Paycheck Baits instead of RI: http://www.***.com/Paycheck_Baits_Punch_Hooks_5pk/descpage-PBPH.html
  20. I was going to say the same thing!!!! That's because it's a picture of KVD.
  21. Van Dam is sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, so he doesn't have a choice other than to use it. Just because a pro fishes a product doesn't mean it's good (or bad).
  22. Don't consider the Loomis GL series, they are decent rods, but you can get better for your money in their price range. Loomis starts to stand out with the IMX line. The Avid on the other hand is a very good rod for the money and is worth the extra money.
