One More Cast with Shaw Grigsby
I remember hearing that he has a heart condition, and the medication he takes for it increases the risk of overexposure from the sun. So he wears the gloves to cover his skin.

Smallies in NC...?
Only in the mountains. The rest of the state's climate is too warm for Smallmouths to survive in lakes.

Who Dat?
Be careful with those pictures Catt. Remember what happened after you posted this? ;D

So Disappointed!!!
You can't expect a lottery to raise enough money to fix every school in the state. The money does go to education, but most of it is towards new school construction and scholarships: http://www.nc-educat...y2009_page2.pdf

Sunline Shooter or Sniper.

reviews on a Tru-life swimbait.
The action looks good in the water, but, I never had a single bite on the ones I had.

Best gloomis shakey and weightless senko rod?
A heavier powered rod isn't always better. Lighter powered rods handle light lures better.

Spinnerbait fans
I use them 100% of the time. I keep using them because a good portion of the bass I catch on spinnerbaits are only hooked by the trailer.

Smallies in NC...?
The Yadkin River above Winston-Salem has some. The Yadkin around Pilot Mountain is a good place to fish for Smallmouths as well as Spotted Bass. Try to fish after a long period of no rain, when the water is clearest. All of the farming irrigation in the area can really muddy up the river after rain. The New River is one of the best Smallmouth rivers in NC and is near Boone.

Colts coach should be fired
Because they only had to play 14 regular season games. The Colts made it to 14-0, so they would have entered the playoffs undefeated if the regular season was still only 14 games. The Patriots made it to 18-0 and then finished with a loss, while the Dolphins only had to go 17-0 and finished undefeated.

Cavitron BuzzBaits
I would use only Cavitrons if their wire frames didn't bend so easily. I understand a thinner wire gives off more vibration, but it sacrifices durability.

W E C Crankbaits - Zoom Crankbaits
He has a couple new crankbaits out, the Lightning Bolt and Peanut. I haven't seen the Peanut for sale anywhere yet. There were a few Lightning Bolts for sale on eBay but they are gone now. Simmons Sporting Goods has a good selection of WECs.

Re: Laserlure Crankbaits
Try it with two words.

In-line Spinners
Panther Martins are the best quality and spin easiest IMO. Roostertails seem to foul the most often. They can be fun on an UL rod, surprisingly big bass will hit them every now and then.

Shaky Head rod
You can get an IMX for about the same price as a Cumara if you look around on internet forums.
- Whats your favorite hooks?

Swimbait Line?
For paddle tail tubes you don't need any special line. 12-14 lb. and a MH rod should be fine.

H2o Jerkbaits vs LC Staysee and Pointers
Lucky Craft has their own hooks made by VMC and sharpened by Daiichi. It would be very unlikely that a store brand like Academy could use the same hooks, or use the same plastic and internal rattling systems as Lucky Craft. What is your source for this?

Are bigger fish really better?
I disagree. I feel like I've accomplished something more when I catch a 18" wild Brown Trout, in its natural habitat, than when I catch some genetically mutated 5 lb. Rainbow trout in a stocked pond. And trust me, the wild Brown Trout is much more challenging. I do agree that in bass fishing bigger is always better, but that isn't the case with every species. Genetically mutated in a stocked pond? Okay, well I guess I wasn't thinking about bizzare scenarios like that. The point I'm trying to make is that everything is relative. I feel like you and others who say numbers are more important are kidding yourselves. You can prove me wrong very easily. Just tell me that when you're fishing for wild brown trout you'd rather catch 12 wild brown trout in the 12-16 inch range, than you would ONE 40 inch wild brown trout at some point during the day, and thats that. Same with the steroid genetically mutated pond. If you happen to one day get the itch to go to said pond, and you can tell me you'd rather catch 13 genetically mutated 17 inch fish or ONE 49 inch genetically mutated fish, then once again, that's that and i'll believe you prefer numbers over weight. I just can't see how that's possible to want to catch numbers over a potential state record sized monster. Either way, to each his/her own and I hold nothing against you numbers guys. If there are truely any numbers guys out there. I never said I prefer to catch numbers. I would prefer to catch a smaller amount of big fish than a larger amount of small fish, unless I'm fishing in a situation where the big fish are common and easy to catch, such as in a stocked trout pond. In that case, I would fish for the "big" (when compared to the other fish in its habitat) 18" wild fish, instead of a 5 lb. stocked, corn-fed fish that is easy to catch. And most trout that are stocked are genetically altered to grow bigger and be sterile.

Are bigger fish really better?
I know that. But considering the fact that it has been in the US for over 150 years, the Brown Trout that are fished for now are in their "natural" habitat. Trout fishing has a big following in lots of areas. It might not be popular in Virginia Beach, (no trout there) but head over to the Appalachians or any other mountain range and you will realize how popular it is.
