hey paul, i'll sell ya my cardiff 300. i threw it today and it's a great reel, but it's righty and i'd much rather have a lefty. throwing a right-hand retrieve reel just does not feel comfortable or natural to me. lemme know if you're interested, you've got first dibs!

i just bought two more bags of the RT shad in green pumpkin, headin to the quabbin today to try em out. looks like i'm gonna have to add these new RT products to my next shopping list. big-O, the chimp says "thanks!" ;D

*this just in.... like new shimano cardiff 300A FOR SALE!!!* that was my first thought when i was considering buying the setup. i said to myself "now i just KNOW this thing'll sell quick on BR... then i can get another abu!!!" ;D i don't know, mike.... this reel looks and feels pretty slick, we'll see how it handles tomorrow. 8-)

i just put in an order this morning on matt's site. i picked up 3 east coast series swimbaits (perch, LM bass and yellow bass) along with an ultimate bluegill in the male color. can't wait to get them in and start throwing them, from everything thing i've heard these baits are killer. we'll see in a week or so! 8-)

well you've done it russ.... you've convinced me to hop on the wagon. heard about a sweet deal on a 7'6" okuma paired with a shimano cardiff 300 that was for sale on another site, contacted the guy and we're meeting up this weekend to exchange goods. so after this weekend, expect one more "ANOTHER!!!! swimbait-er is born!" thread to pop up! the bait monkey thanks you, russell. my wallet, however, does not.

was fishing with bronzeback bomber last sunday and had a HUGE bullfrog chase down my frog through some thick pads, he popped up right behind the lily pad my frog was sitting on and then jumped up and ate it. i tried setting the hook on him but he dropped it before i could.
