screws poping out of side rubber bumper
It's a known problem with the older skeeters. just pull the rubber back and run them back in. I have to check mine about once a year. Ususlly it is the ones that are located on both sides about the area where the driver and the passenger sit. You don't have to completely remove the insert. I take a screwdriver, pry it out a little, and tighten the screws. I have not had to tighten mine in a couple of years, but a rough day on the lake will loosen them up in spots. Enjoy!

Fishing Forearm?
That numbness in your fingers and fore arm could be Carpel tunnel syndrome. I had it and had to have both hands operated on back in the mid 90s. It's coming back now so i may be looking at a do over.

Use of a GPS as a back seater?
If you bank beat during a tournament sure, go ahead and let them mark all they want. My offshore humps, ridges, creek bends, offshore grass, are private knowledge until someone else takes the time to locate. Again, these are locations I have spent the time and money to figure out, you are not welcome to them. Go spend the money for your own boat and electronics and have at it. Otherwise, stay away. The only boat i ever protested in a tournament was sitting on one of my locations that a coangler showed him the second day of a tournament. My first day coangler went out in the first flight, I was in the second flight the second day. They were sitting on a hump I found in practice exactly where we put over 25lbs. in the boat day one. It held up and they lost their weight for that day.

Changing Lures?
I pick up another rod several times before leaving a spot. Try to cover the entire water column before writing off a spot. i also will come back to certain areas at different times of day and again will try several lures to determine if there is any activity.

Use of a GPS as a back seater?
Nope it ain't going to happen. That co angler you draw may just be a boater the next time you hit the lake. Let them go find and figure out their own fish. It takes lots of time and money to figure out a lake. You never know who they know or when they may offer up the cordinates to someone else.

How 'bout them Cowboys???
It all goes back to the owner, coaches, and front office. So much for the title game predictions. LMAO!

New to me 97 Astro does this speed sound right?
Sounds about right to me. All those 60mph 150 hp boats are few and far between when you put the real killer of mph (GPS) to them.

Are Length/Slot Limits Still Revelant?
Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this subject. Personally I lean to the thought that we have all(Bass fishermen) have been conditiloned to the point that we don't keep enough of the smaller fish. We have lakes in our area that are overrun with 10-13" fish. Some need to be removed, but it would be a cold day in hell before you caught some of our tourney anglers opening the livewell lid to drop one in. The parks and wildlife departments are begging us to reduce the numbers of smaller fish from some of the waters, but still, none do. Should we or not?

Rude Anglers
Mixing water with a boat is like mixing Crown/water to some people. They just lose it. Six months ago on Rayburn i was fishing a ledge out on the lake. A kid in a new Ranger came from a thousand yards on plane within thirty yards of me. He shut it down and with out killing the big engine motored right up over where I had just thrown and hit the GPS. Put it in reverse, backed out ten yards, motored to the rear of the boat, and hit the GPS again. I could have jumped from my boat to his. I didn't say a word, just pulled up the TM, fired up, and left the area. Get used to it, it's going to get worse.

LMAO, just like I did last night when you called to tell me about it. What did I say,,,Don't leave the charger on 24/7 and check the fluids at least once a month if you do. Glad you got back in. would not have liked the allnight tow to get you off the water.
