  1. I sure do. E.T. visits me nightly. I refuse to give him any cordinates.
  2. X2, if I spoke my true feelings and my thoughts about the direction some are trying to take this country I would be banned so I'll keep quite.
  3. Cuba, if it were legal, but it's not; so it would be: Falcon...You should allready know why.
  4. Their website material is stating that the ramp is now for overhight patrons only. Not sure when that has started. They never said anything to me, but it's been a while since i launched there. Can anyone verify this?
  5. I am left handed. I cast with the left and crank right. Presentation is more important than turning the reel handle. If i can't put it where i want it I'm not going to get bit.
  6. I still fish the Deep Wee R. I like the shad color with the purple back. Can't tell you how many I've put in the boat over the years with it. It's responsible for my first ever tournament win back in 68.
  7. Yep it sucks. Wait until you've been through fourteen surgeries (6 on the neck), three pins in r. hip. I'm up now due to pain in my neck, r. shoulder, and r. arm. Seems i plan my week around doctor visits. I can still stand all day in a bass boat though.
  8. Here you go guys. Current as of today. Both generators down Spillway gates closed Current lake level: 167.32 SRA said they will turn on both generators Friday and run them until the water level reaches 165. Ramps Lowest Usable Level Indian Mounds 162.6 6 Mile 163.61 Alpine 162.69 Fin & Feather 163.61. Give me your ramp and I will post the lowest usable level for you.
  9. Looks like a culvert or boat ramp damage. Fess up Robert. Tell us what really happened.
  10. I went in last July on Fork. Wasn't so bad except i had to listen to Long Mike ride me the rest of the day. Tempted to give his old a** a shove around noon.
  11. Heck Sam i could be a world beater on that circuit. I need to consider changing my screen name to Ton-O-Dinks. Personally, I enjoy changing up things.
  12. X2, and usually everyone has run from the wind so that area has been untouched since the wind got up.
  13. Trout creek runs right through the center of town. You can get bit right there. there is a fly shop located on the Pigeon Forge road just where it forks with 321 on the lower end of town. just south of the split it will be on your left going south. Sorry, can't remember the name. There is a huge flyfishing shop a mile from the south park entrance in Townsen. It will be on the right as you leave the park headed to Maryville. They ship stuff all over the world. You also have the Pigeon and the Little Pigeon rivers or you can get a guided trip over on Ft. Louden-Tellico. No problem finding a place to fish, just have to figure them out. Lots of people fish the tiny plastic worms, but I never did. If it's bass you want I guess Douglass or Ft. Louden-Tellico lakes would be the best/closest choices. X2 on the traffic sucks. I've seen it many times bumper-to-bumper from downtown all the way back across the river in Pigeon Forge. Good luck
  14. Tungsten, just a better feel for me.
  15. Years ago i was fishing a tournament on Rayburn in the back of Harvey creek. Came up on a boat with two guys, they saw the ribbon on my boat and immediately offered me a 5+ for a 100.00. I took down their boat number and when i got in i turned it over to the game warden. No idea if they even followed up on it.
  16. Where you putting in?
  17. We've done it before. Get a piece of rubber, heck we cut it out of an old inner tube and lay it on the floor. that will keep the shoulder on the prop from damaging the flooring. Make sure you run the all thread through the wing nut all the way to the floor. It will kept it from rocking and creates a better, stronger fit. Good luck, let me know if you run into a problem.
  18. Don't do it. Too much travel. Go 1/4" at a time or you might go right past the sweet spot. Make dang sure you watch the water pressure. When you start moving the motor up and down it quickly becomes the most important guage in the boat.
  19. If current is available hit the up current side and let it wash the lure through.
  20. Need to let everyone know if you run south out of Jackson Hill Marina or make the run south from Hanks Creek Marina through the long cut the the hump out where the old town of Warsaw was located is now in play. Move to the right near the tree line south out of Jackson hill or cut the corner tight (Not too tight though) to the right just as you exit south out of the long cut to miss it. It's shallow enough to do possible damage.
