  1. Left half of garage is for fishing. Right half for anything else. Boat is full. Truck is half full of equipment The truck bed has spare, jack, and a fourway lug wrench Spare hubs, bearings, etc. are under the trucks rear seat. Pegboard in garage is full along with all shelving, chest with pullouts, and racks. Extra keys and locks never leave the trucks console. Made the wife a promise to keep the fishing out of the house. I fudge when she is on the road during the week.
  2. X2 on the transom. They were also known for backing the screws out that hold the cap in place. If anyone is running one it is wise to pull the bump rail insert and tighten the screws about once a year.
  3. I have the identical boat in my driveway. Currently have a 24 pitch trophy 4 blade on it that will push it 53 on GPS. The 24 Tempest 3 blade will add several mph depending on the load. That is about all you should see out of it. Are you running a jackplate? If so, what setback? We took the jackplate off this boat when we installed a new transom and it made no difference in the speed or handling.
  4. So if it was brown on the sides it would be a SM record?
  5. X2 to Catt and Triton Mike. Some of the lakes around here are loaded with small bass that need to be removed or culled out to an extent. Texas Parks and Wildlife have two lakes in the state that any fish over 24" must be immediately returned to the water(After weighing on certified scales). If it is over 13 lbs. it is to be entered into the state share-a-lunker program and the hatchery in Athens will send out a truck and pick it up, otherwise it must go right back in the water. They allow the two lakes to harvest the smaller fish. Unfortunately few anglers take advantage of this. Even the smaller Kentucky bass have no minimum length limit. They just want them thinned out. The two lakes are Nacogdoches and Lake Austin(I think).
  6. Got to spend some time with Marty an Mike Lott at the boat show today. Both are first class and have some great stories to tell if you can get them away from the crowds. I first met Marty several years ago in Birmingham. Marty did not make the classic field this year, but will be there working the show for Bass Cat. Ask him about the rotten ham sandwich, you will get a good laugh.
  7. VT should worry. They will be out of the BCS championship picture after game one in Atlanta next year. Roll Tide!
  8. What's a hokie? Nothing more than a word picked out to rhyme in one of their cheers. Now that's original. I still don't know what it is. Hey VT...It's friggin Cincy. Who?
  9. Nice fish. Been once, just real hard to bypass Falcon so I usually stay north of the border.
  10. You think you have it bad? at least you dont root for the O's OK, maybe I don't have it so bad afterall. You win
  11. You they haven't been the same since this. CARDS 4LIFE!! Agreed. Lidge seems to have put it behind him though.
  12. It could be worse. You could have the Astros for your home team!
  13. Right, and that 27 pounder that died last year is real. I'll be the first to call this B.S. You don't even list your location in your avatar. Now isn't that convenient. Total B.S. Pics won't do it either(Although they would be nice), it will take a statement from the parks and wildlife department to go along with it before I would even consider this story. BTY, if you are in Texas don't bother giving me David Campbell's number at the hatchery(I have it). He has never mentioned any thing like this to me and we talk regularly
  14. I was thinking Cuba. Tons of lakes and very large bass were caught years ago when you could fish down there. If it ever opens up it could happen there. Lots of big bass that have seen very few lures for the past five decades. I did not vote
  15. We bought the memory foam to go on our beauty rest mattress. For the first two weeks we were sure we had made a mistake. Now we love it. Most stores will give you a 30 day swap if you are unhappy(At least they do in this area)so just go pick out what you think you will like and if not swap it for another.
  16. Pork chops Cabbage Blackeyed peas Lots of football
  17. Happy New Year from Jack and Wanda.
  18. You did not give us very much information to help you out. Is it loaded with weeds, timber, rocks, etc.? If I could I would fish the DD-22, Dt-16, DT-10, and a trap. Fish the trap and drop it several times during the retrieve. Rip it out of the weeds and hang on.
  19. Why would you want it to miss the grass? I catch most of mine ripping it out of the grass.
  20. None...Got a garage with more than I will ever use. Bought me a new Tag watch
  21. Trilene Big Game in green
  22. That is no warranty. Why didn't they just tell you to trash it if it broke?
