The Magic Lure
Grrrrr! I am still having trouble gaining confidence in this lure! I use it every now and again with very mild success. I dont fish clear water much so maybe It would be a good idea if I seen it in clear water or a swimming pool so I could get an idea of what it looks like. :-?

Spro Dean Rojas Bronzeye Frog
Trimming the skirts a little shorter can help. Some guys like to trim one side shorter.I personally havent noticed a difference in doing that.I can walk it either way. Also try a little "rod english". In other words don't pull/twitch the bait straight on.Point down and sharply move 6 to 7 o'clock or 7 to 8? Just a slight upward curve, and once again amount of slack in the line is key. This is for walking. Just pulling or jerking the frog straight and making it hop works great too.Bounce it 3 or 4 times then pause.Vary the pauses.Vary how hard you yank it, from barely making rings on the water to making a splashy ruckus. Sometimes if I have it stuck a little on weeds, scum,or on top of pads I will shake my rod tip to make it dance then slowly pull it into "the kill zone".

Iran's Missles
Even though there is a lot of truth in that statement they seem to be pretty united against Christians. And against Americans in general.Theres only a couple million living here :-X :-X :-X

Is there a particular technique
The hooks that come on the chug bug are deadly sharp but bend kind of easy :-/
-
Sureset Hooks
I am going to have to be a follower again and say that yes those owner hooks are the s--t as well.
-
Sureset Hooks
Right.Same thing I do if I use them at all on a crank.I cant stand dredging up every single imagineable debri of the bottom with those things. I like them on the rear of a topwater, and one on the rear of a rattletrap not only looks nice but may help nail those quick slashers.

Hula Grubs, Skrubs, etc...
x2 a carolina rig works, but if I want a profile or action like a hula grub I would normally prefer a rage craw or paca.

Yozuri Lures
The crystal minnows and 3-d minnow(a suspender) are great bass lures. Far as I acn tell these are sold as saltwater lures but it doesnt mean that they arent good in fresh water either.
-
GYCB Big Kuhuna worms
They are the bomb! The bass dont see them a whole lot either. It works like a senko but with more action. When its fluttering through the water it has the same profile as a long minnow.Looks just like one. Straight weightless is killer! Dont rule out wacky style or wacky with a weight in the nose.Texas rigged w/unpegged bullet weight is sick.Decent on a carolina rig.Dont be afraid to stick one on a spot remover either Its also a great bait to "walk"on the surface in the early morning then kill it on edges and pockets

"plastic worm, weightless"
Yamamoto Kut Tail worm 6.5 inch.Enough said. Clear water?? Try flourocarbon line. It's nice for "weightless applications.

Fav Crankbaits?
For a mid range price and excellent quality the dt rapalas are the ticket and make sure to get some of the flat series too they are amazing.Get some brights and naturals. My all time 2 favorite colors on the dt series are yellow w/purple back and plain ol sliver. Another all around good crank on a lower budget are bandits too. They come in every imaginable color.
-
Backward Senko?
Agreed!x2 Many times after using a t rig senko it can be saved for future use as wacky also
-
Flukes/ Slug-go
Theres nothing wrong with fishing the slug-o wacky style with a weight inserted in the nose section

berkley blade dancer?
The weedless bladedancer is an effective lure in and on top of slop and pads.If you got holes let it fall. I have fished with the johnson silver minnow tipped with a grub and many many times the color of the trailor makes all the difference.Got to experiment Even try something loud like white, yellow,or pink. I would normally start with a clear silver, smoke,or gold.

Whats wrong with my rage tail toads
I had the same problem with some that I got when they first came out and was not impressed with the product compared to the other toads I use,the plastic was stiff and would not run right unless I burned it. but....recently got a bag of melon pearl which were very soft and pliable. They ran like a dream, perfectly smooth. I dont know if they were improved or if it was because I got a different color?? The toads I had a problem with were okeechobee and summer.

All lakes have it
Good stuff! This might be a good read for the guys who think the only way to catch bass is to constantly pound the shoreline cover just so they can "see" what they are aiming at. : :

Swim Senko techniques/retrieval
My best technique is to drive them. I hop in the car and promptly return them to the store purchased and get my money back.
