  1. excalibur zel pop? One of my favs.A very subtle "spitting" bait.
  2. quote from inbred: "I know he loves his sister and wants to take care of her" Thats some tough love.
  3. x3 on the redear. Those little fellows are crazy. Of those on the list I would have to go with the bowfin.Catch one five pounds or better and your in for a wrestling match. They have long powerful runs, unlike the short bursts from a bass. I for one have not ever had the pleasure of catching a smallmouth before. :-[
  4. x2, and the head design, well look at the shape. It obviously doesnt come through "heavy cover" at all. This jig has its time and place though, as do most lures.Open water, flat or sandy banks and rocky conditions its great. The same places you might fish a skakey head.It stands up fine.
  5. Yea a lot more water displacement on the rage.close call here,I like the fact I can easily put a loud rattle in the paca. The paca also falls a little slower due to the fact it is a tube. The rage is highly durable, and have caught multiple fish one one bait as long as the head doesnt rip. When the head does rip, just snip it off with scissors and you got a dandy rage chunk trailor.Either way they are both fantastic baits, and are my go to for flippin pitchin.
  6. I prefer the 1/2 lb double chedder jalepeno burger at wendys. Now thats a sandwich!
  7. Durability is no issue on these,no worse than anything else.It is an awesome bait on a shakey, give the fish something a little different.Weightless works great too, when I want to give the trickworm eaters something different. I havent used them in weighted t-rig applications yet so not sure, but yes it is a good worm no doubt.
  8. Better options are out there but....the skirted weedless ones works wonders at times in the slop.Drag it through the pads, its pretty cool.Have had a small amount of success with the mini ones on crappie.
  9. This is the exact kind of thread I have been looking for a while now. Thanks guys! Good info.
  10. bait,minnow,nutter,pissant,lil bassturd,peon
  11. And something else. Who's in the coffin? And why Is Jack saying we gotta go back? Why is charlies ghost telling Hugo to go back? Who is Kate the hottie going home to? Stuff like that is what keeps you watching it.
  12. oh cool nice banner avid 8-)
  13. Watched the first 2 mins or so and that was enough for me. :
  14. agreed! It just sorta sucked me in. Just curious, anybody got any comments to share about the black smoke apparition thingy?
  15. maybe a different chemical composition in the plastic? OR A BETTER TYPE OF GLUE AND/OR MORE THOROUGH GLUE JOB.
  16. I HAD IT HAPPEN TWICE ON THE REGULAR DT NOT THE FLAT.One was a 10 and the other a 6,and luckily it was from pulling on a snag and not a fish LOL. From what I heard from a few people it used to happen a lot when that series first came out and it seems Rapala has improved the problem. If any fall out I would think they were some old ones that were sitting around for a while.Few drops of super glue before use no problem.
  17. Im sure you will get a few different opinions, but mine is sell them at the yard sale
  18. Nice one Roger Sounds interesting to me.
  19. x2 it is not a subtle bait at all though,it is very loud and aggressive. If you twitch it once it will make a huge POP! I caught a few on it the first day I used it.On some pretty choppy water,it was sweeeet.Use a 5/0 owner riggin hook or twistlock. Just thought of it....I think this may be a good one to use at night. The sound and action is very much similar to a jitterbug.
  20. Here ya go...http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1200436107/0
  21. 12.3 had a pretty good scale but not a good camera.Took some self photos with my phone but they turned out like crap, thus furthering suspicion by my pals that is was a fib.LOL. NOT!
  22. Paca craw,Yum craw,gycb flappin hog
