I use Owner Mosquito hooks #2, #1, and 1/0 depending on the lure I'm using. I have used the Gammy #1 and #2 but prefer the Owner hooks. They are nasty sharp.

The overall competition is better today thus making it harder to win consistently. Also not winning wears you out mentally, and fishing is more mental than physical.

I like a 4" Zoom Green Pumpkin Lizard on a shakey head or drop shot. Deadly in the spring.

The first time I fished the Yamamoto Kreature I caught 8 in a row and 9 in the first 10 casts. Needless to say that it has become one of my favorite baits.

Fat Ika, Zoom Finesse Worms, Yamamoto Kreatures and Zoom Lizards. These lures have accounted for over 70% of the fish I catch.

I have caught fish using the smaller critter craws on a shakey head jig. Would probably work on a football head jig also.
