My Cumara has none of the issues mentioned in The_Naturals post. It is by far my favorite rod (I also own 2 Loomis IMX). The sensitivity is on par with my IMX rods. Don't know how those rods passed QA or a store inspection, but they should never have been put on the shelves.

I use Zoom 4" Green Pumpkin Lizards and a Bite-Me 3/16 oz. shakey head jig with a Tru-Turn Hitchhiker. Has been my top producer this year by far.

Yes on rocks most of the time, no on snagged branches and trees.

take a look at a Powell or Dobyns rod in that price range. Both are excellent rods for the money.

The Cumara uses Fuji SiC Guides not Alconite. Nice writeup.
