I used 15 lb. Trilene flouro with the Cumara, it was quite nice. I'm using 14 lb. Lucky Craft mono currently on the Carrot. Yesterday I could feel a jig ticking every limb on the way down. I fished the Cumara for 3 months, it never produced that sort of sensitivity. It was a good rod, but IMNSPO, the Carrot blows it out of the water. I wanted to like the Cumara, but the Carrot stole my heart. Nice also seeing that in canada the carrots are only 160$ !!! I feel ripped paying 200+ for my crucials now. >

Going fishing tomorrow on a lake 13km long 1km wide usually lots of vegetation shallow water 3-8' with weeds coming up to 6' will be on shore since i injured my knee and only thing is the paddle boat. It's Canada so i expect water temps to be in high 40's low 50's as the weather is in the 60's now. is it supple and soft or what? Very soft, very little memory. It has been on the Premier since 5/21, applied KVD when I filled the reel. I've thrown it quite a bit, still no memory to speak of. It's definitely a premium mono with premium characteristics. Well, then stick with it if it's your thing life's too short to bicker of a few dollars
