I still have it ptomacbass and it's an old swimbait, 15 yrs later and only fished it a few times with no great results. I probably should have given it more of a chance but lacked confidence in it. I'm sure that you will do fine with yours though. Big O www.ragetail.com

WTG JHawk and 4X4, I like fishing rain too as long as there isn't lightening with it. The fish don't get any wetter and trashbags rule....they're cheap, you can pack'em in your pocket, chunk'em when your done and keep on fishin'. Anyone that says they haven't wore a trash bag hasn't fished much Big O

Was asked about the biggest fish that I know of that has been caught on the Rage Anaconda. The one in the photo from a local paper was caught on a 10" prototype in June 07 at one of my favorite public lakes in Texas. Weighed 13.90 and she was suspended in a tree top in 25 to 30 ft water and spawned out. As usual released immediately on site after photo. My nephew was happy to say the least and gave me high fives and a big hug. Fishing is great for everyone and you can't say that about too many things..... Big O www.ragetail.com

Glad you like'em Fishinfiend....what color were your fish partial to? I don't have a favorite all around color as of yet but I like Big Tex quite a bit. I think because it has such a variety of natural dark and light colors. It is humorous that even the small fish attack this large of a worm but I think they see it as a main course meal and dessert all in one. Nice photo!!! Big O www.ragetail.com

what a hog how big was that pig She was only 13.90 but I thought she was going to weigh 15+. Caught this fish the year before and she was 14.40......She is one of my girlfriends but I only get to see her once a year. We are both getting older ;D Big O

Took my nephew night fishing when I first designed the Anaconda....

Adclem, On the Spro and Scum Frogs, work'em on top of the grass, pads with little twitches or with gentle walk the dog style of retrieve. Don't get too quick and let the fish tell you what they like as you vary your presentation. They will hone in on one type of look that will tell the story. Important to try to see the frog as they see it....this keeps you focused and helps you the understand why the fish struck. On the Rage Toad, be sure to use 5/0 to 6/0 minimum EWG superline hook. Insert the hook 1/2" deep into the nose and then back completely through the body and skin hook in the little slot on the Toads back. You will notice that the Toad is now Keeled like a boat and will stay upright 99% of the time on cast and retrieve. If in fact it lands on it's back on the cast, just pause 1 sec. and you will see it right itself to it's stomach. Be sure to Pop the feet tabs loose. This bait is a buzz type frog that can be thrown in the junk as well as open water effectively. It's ok to vary your speeds but keep it just slow enough to keep the feet flipping and/or churning. Over open pockets it is good to pause now and then and let it fall or drop for a different type of reaction strike....Again let the fish tell you what they want. Regardless which frog you are fishing, let the fish load up on it after the strike before you set the hook. Feel the fish and hitt'em. Hope that helps you and let us know how you do... Hey Olebiker, I fished that lake from early 70's to early 80's and mainly at night and it's hard to imagine the numbers and size of the fish we caught...1 over 13, 3 over 12 and WOW how many between 10 and 11.... If you remember, in those days very few folks even knew where the lake was and it was a dirt road that led to it. Only a few locals spent any time on it and they were mainly brim fisherman. There were absolutely no tournaments ever. The lake was too choked in lillies and hydrilla with only a 8 or so open pockets. I would spend a part of my day ripping through the lillies with stem cutters mounted on my boat and create the perfect trails unknown to anyone else and come back to fish them a few nights later. Those were the days....don't seem that I am that mad at'em any more ;D Big O www.ragetail.com

Let him go and let it go. Just think, it is his loss. Had he been a normal courteous type of person he could have learned from you and thus gained from that very experience. Back in the mid 70's I caught one of the biggest Mudfish, Grennel, Bowfin I have ever caught while bass fishing in Lake Carr at night with a muskie jitterbug on the end of a jiggerpole. After the fight was over, although he was in the boat, I'm still not sure who won that war....He was 15 lbs. and we were both soakin wet, worn out and bloody. I am familiar with that feeling young friend, When I was about 20 yrs. old, I made the mistake of wade fishing at night in the small body of water across the highway from from Lake Jackson, Tallahassee. Was throwing Tx rigged 10" worms and on every other cast, the water would erupt in a huge boil as soon as my bait hit the water and I could feel the strike....After setting the hook several times and coming back with 1/2 of my worm left, I called my to my dad who was bank fishing about 50 yards away... He came down with his headlight to ck things out and as soon as I casted, the same thing happened so he peered out with his light and said to me quietly, "get out of the water now". Of course I followed his direction and when on shore I looked where he was pointing the light and there were three gators in the edge of the pads looking right at us. Needless to say, we left and came back the next night with a Boat. ;D Big O www.ragetail.com
