All colors become brighter or lighter in the water. Creating NEW colors that provide excellent results on the shelf and in the water with improved catch ratios, is a trial and error situation in most cases and when done properly can be very time consuming. To TEST-TEST-TEST is BEST-BEST-BEST. The more actual dye there is in the plastic, the more it resembles the shelf color when placed in the water. Translucent colors will change more and the flake colors become much more obvious. Color names can be Copyrighted. And yes Hematoma is a good name Hope that helps Big O www.ragetail.com

I named the color "Falcon (Lake) Craw" from the basic color of the Craws found in Falcon Lake through much of the year... along with additional colors that I think the fish find attractive. It's kind of like the names that are given to bait designs, someone has to make a descriptive decision Big O www.ragetail.com

If the bait in all age classes made it through successfuly, then the bass should have as well. I'm thinking that the young and medium aged bait fish got chewed up pretty good during the extended low conditions since there was less area and cover to hide in and possibly the remainder are adults or the larger models. When the lake came back up, there's much more area and cover to scatter and secure the bait that survived. The bass that remained were probably the healthiest and the best feeders. Less bait in substantially more area will make the bass prowl more to fill their bellies. The prowlers are generally aggressive. I'll bet that you will see wolf packs of bass rounding up whatever bait is available in given areas... A healthy creek flowing in could improve the situation quickly as well. Hehehe... Let the fish tell you what they want and FEED'EM that WTG ETB, a burnin' jig across the top or just under the surface will get'em heated up in many situations and I use the Lobster more often than the Craw for additional water movement. Big O www.ragetail.com

It's a good color... My favorite I guess, I designed it. Have fished it with the Rage Craws and Lobsters from East to West across the South and produces as good or better than any other color. As far as fishing the Rodents, I haven't as of yet Big O www.ragetail.com
