  1. IMO, it's just another ADVENTURE to note your passion for fishing! We've all had those days and I often look back on them with a smile and say "Wow, that was a CLUSTER" As you continue to fish, you can bet there will probably be another so rest assured you will make it through that one just fine as well. If nothing else, it makes a good conversation piece Big O www.ragetail.com

  4. Hey Shane, I wish we made them in the Falcon Lake Craw color... maybe in the near future Rangerphil, I don't live in your area but I always keep Green Pumpkin on hand for all three sizes of our Craws and Lobsters. With JJ's variety of dip colors, I can Q-tip the GP craws and get any number of tasty colors for the fish Before we mass produced the Falcon Lake Craw color, I would use red dye to color one side of a GP craw and let the chewing begin Hope you have a great time with'em! 8. Bruised ribs from fighting heavy fish seem to make lasting, yet fond memories! My friend Alex and I ended up with exactly that and the meal ticket was Rage Lobsters and/or Smokin Roosters flipped in deep brush. Falcon Lake Craw color on the Lobsters was a HOTT bite rigged on a 3/4 oz SK Tour Grade or SOB tungsten weight. Big rods and 50lb braid were necessary to get their attention fast and keep them moving up and out of the thick stuff. I'll get other pic's up soon... Notice I was wearing my PFD to pad my ribs on one of them and would've worn it more but my line would sometimes tangle in the straps during the hook set. We were in FLIPPIN HEAVEN that day and had to share a few choice beverages when it was all over... you know, for the battered ribs and all! Big O www.ragetail.com

  22. Might concentrate on the cypress that are shallow and nearest to the drops or deeper water, and specifically on points or possible bends in the canal. Then SLOW down and "be the bait"... Keeping confidence that there are fish there and regularly looking at your offering. I think many fish strike after seeing or feeling a baits life like action from the fall or hop then seeing it sit still for an extended moment or minimal movement in the same place. Not all strikes are from pure fast reaction... but many are from a fish that stalks or sneaks in for the meal or kill shot. We all like the quick movement reaction bites but sometime we need to lure or finesse the fish into eating Big O www.ragetail.com

Thanks for you kind comments Friends and I wish we all had a chance to fish together regardless of where and when... Something like fishing with friends makes most everything else take a back seat in my world And I guess there's just not enough days in life to enjoy it all... but we continue to try real hard, Don't We Big O www.ragetail.com
