  4. And you did a GREAT JOB for sure! I not only enjoyed reading your story, but also understand your thought process as well. It's times like this that make the biggest impressions on us as fishermen... A dream comes true yet we're still wishing or hoping that things could have been slightly different in some way! Rest in the Moment Friend, and relish the Memory you've created. I think it's AWESOME Big O www.ragetail.com
  5. Healthy Fish and it's body is deep compared to the head size... That means she is feeding well while young and if the same trend continues, She could be a really Big Gal some day WTG! Big O www.ragetail.com
  6. That's terrific Fat-G and a terrific color jig set up too! You guys are setting a standard in your area for catching QUALITY FISH and on a regular basis. I'm sure there are much older and more experienced anglers around you that would like to get the results you guys are and bet you could teach'em a thing or two EXCELLENT!!! Big O www.ragetail.com

  10. NOT MY AGE.... Hehehe, I'm not quite there YET But a few days ago, I had a GOOD day... my best 7 fish totaled well over 70lbs I made a run to Falcon Lake to visit friends and Tackle Shops but I didn't take my Boat this time A friend arranged for a boat when I arrived in the case that I got a chance to fish a little... and I did The lake level had dropped approx. 10ft since I fished there last, so I spent the first day talking to the fish The best spot I found that day was a drop that was loaded with 6 and 7lb fish. After catching many on successive casts with a T-rigged Thumper, I realized that sized fish was all it had to offer so I kept searching. The wind got crazy that afternoon so I loaded up and trailered to another part of the lake for the next day. The following morning started out GANG BUSTERS with the first flip producing a 12lber on a Rage Lobster. A few flips later, a 3 lber jumps completely in the boat and hits me in the leg while I was reeling the Lobster up to my hand for the next flip. Shortly after that, I catch 2 more Bigguns from a steep drop on a 10" Rage Thumper worm T-rigged... That's when I realized "It's Gonna Be A GOOD Day" and I might need to get some photos. Was able to get pic's of the last four big fish, when other boats would come close enough and graciously agree to snap a shot. I'd place a fish in each livewell (due to size and water temps) before asking for a photo prior to release. Notice in the next post the kind of fishermen I'd ask to take a photo for me I just couldn't bring myself to ask someone with a bass boat and fishing rods to assist me... I didn't need that much help My friend called to ck on me at about 1pm and I told him I needed some help... "CATCHIN' ALL THESE BIG FISH" plus I was almost out of Thumpers Crazy thing about all this, is from the beginning I didn't know if I was going to be able to fish or not, and brought only 2 rods and 5 or six packs of baits with me. Plus fishing in a borrowed boat and by myself, as my other friends were working and couldn't make a spur of the moment trip... I kept thinking, what if there was someone with me to get in on some of this, WOW! Just showed me again that it can happen at any given moment, regardless of our plan or preparation... I'm just glad I was there to witness it, LOL Ohhhh a Happy Day... Oh Happy Dayyyy Big O www.ragetail.com

WTG Jignfule, I think slow is is key for Jigs and subsurface Soft Plastics and IMO, if it's Big fish we're targeting, slow becomes a standard... Big O www.ragetail.com
