  1. Green pumpkin, watermelon w red flakes, red Shad, falcon lake craw. Those are my main 4 for the most part. The 5th depends on the plastic. For senkos I like smoke pearl with blue fleck.
  2. Plano hard plastic for all except my soft spinnerbait binder.
  3. I DONT KNOW HOW ITS AFFECTING THEM BUT I KNOW HOW ITS AFFECTING ME!!!!!! APPARENTLY LARGEMOUTH BASS ARE NON EXISTENT IN MY LAKE?!!? Seriously though, i cannot figure them out to save my life. There is no right or wrong way. The fish will tell you if you let them. You can slow roll it deep or a stop and go shallow. Or vice versa. Alot of the times a fish will hit it on the pause thinking its dying or wounded. Again, let the fish tell you. Size and color depends on your depth and water clarity. Heavier weights in deeper water. If you have a darker color of water go with something a little more visible. I prefer white and or chartreuse 100% of the time.
  5. My stepdad and mom watch that stuff all the time. I dont watch it cause i dont think much of it. I do know that if it started happening i too would be long gone. Paranormal activity freaks me out to the max. My wife laughs at me but it really gets my mind going. I am not scared of anything but when it comes to things i cant see or put my finger on my imagination goes to work. Demons and things of that nature is the only thing that bothers me so the ghost shows i just kind of laugh at.
  6. For anyone questioning the punishment given to the saints and or comparing it to the pats spying is ridicolous. The punishment is fit in every way. The difference betwene the 2 is day and night. The pats were spying to gain a competetive edge. The saints had bounties on players heads to HURT them and take them out of a game on a STRETCHER. They are 2 different offenses that get 2 different penalties. HUGE difference. You want to raise your kids on a game that is supposed to teach sportsmanship and discipline and respect? Or a game where the objective is to hurt someone so bad that they cant play? Football is a rough and aggressive sport and thats why we love it. Sure every player wants to get that big hit. I have listened to 10 different db's and linebackers on my local radio show where they have discussed this issue and they all say the same thing. Of course we would throw a couple hundred in a hat and whoever got the biggest hit would get the cash. But we never said instead of a big hit, take this guys knee out and try to break his leg. I think Goodell made his stance very clear. He threw out a massive punishment to set an example so it wont happen anymore, or not as often. Now everyone knows, even if you dont participate but you know what is going on you will get heavily punished. I think his punishment is fair and just. If a coach or player is in the NFL to hurt someone intentionally and get paid for it they ought to be tossed out for good. I still want to see big hits when they are true highlight reel plays. But i dont want to see a 6'6" linebacker weighing 270 lbs running a 4.9 40 trying to literally break someones neck for a few extra thousand when he is already making 25 mill.
  7. Nice ride brutha. Were looking at tahoes, I feel like the Yukon xl is a bit big. We are renting one to take on vacation this summer in june for 4 adults and 2 kids. I hope it fits us all comfortably cause its the largest we can find!!
  8. Sorry if i didnt make the nature of this post clear. It was all in fun. I know the difference between wants and needs and what order they fall in as a "responsible" person. So does my wife. Her comment about an agreement was all in fun. Thanks for the words of wisdom though sir, if i didnt have any of my own i might use yours.
  9. yeah I agree that would be nice however, my wife doesn't buy clothes and material things as much as most women do. Plus she pays all the bills from our joint account. That being said, without her telling me enough is enough when it really truly is, I would be a broke man. I have enough for 3 people so I'm not complaining.
  10. Placed another order from TW, 3rd time in a couple months. I think the last time i may have told my wife it was the last time for atleast a few months because i got so much. I somehow came up with another reason that i needed more tackle and then convinced myself of it........She told me that if i submit the order i have to sign an agreement that this is the last thing i will need for atleast 6 months or I couldnt place my order LOL. I could easily do it seeing as how i usually buy atleast 2 of everything and 3 of everything when it comes to terminal tackle (hooks, weights etc.). Didnt sign anything of course, or agree to anything. Maybe some new ear rings will make her feel better....
  11. positives/ negatives to pegging your weight? I know it helps better navigate through cover if need be, but what are the cons? Also, what can i use to peg the weight? I have heard toothpick but also heard it will damage the line. I looked online and keep finding the same pegs but keep seeing reviews that say they are not made of rubber like advertised and do not work very well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys!
  12. Majority of the time its green pumpkin. I also like some of the smoke color variations and pearl with my senkos. Red Shad is another good one. Throw in some purple sometimes and I'm good. But mainly gp.
  13. If there are fish in there the dinger would get em no problem. like previously mentioned, your tackle is great for the pond. If you're fishing shallow you don't need a drop shot or c rig. if I'm throwing in shallow water I'm throwing Senko style bait like your dingers, spinnerbaits, worms. Get you some flukes and throw them weightless. That's a killer in shallow water.
  14. For making quality soft plastics that are never on a shelf for very long. Second time ive went to bps to grab some more space monkeys and second time ive walked out emtpy handed. And its not just the space monkeys, the craws, thumpers and anacondas were almost gone as well. Guess i will just start saving gas and time and order through TW.

I am going to give jerkbaits another shot this weekend and really focus on learning with them. What are some recommendations as to what types to buy? So far im holding xcalibur eeratic shad jerkbaits. Also, im not looking for 15$ lc's.
  17. I emailed Shimano, thanks yall. @DVT I have the 2500 fd model.
  18. What are the advantages of flouro over mono when it comes to light presentations on spinning gear? Or any gear for that matter? I have never even thought twice about any other type of line and now for some reason im ready to try braid and mainly flourocarbon. What do you use for your applications?
  19. My Sedona has the older and bigger style grip on the handle, not like the new models.I like the newer style a whole lot better. Would the new model entire handle assembly fit my 2010 Sedona model? If so could i order the part directly from shimano?
  20. Was at a party with some of my old boys about 5 or 6 years ago with your average "extra caricular" party activities going on. Some dude threw a used, yes i said used, condom at........someone. He then caught a haymaker directly on the chin and then got hit by the floor. My right hand ring finger still clicks when i make a fist. When i was 5 me and some friends were playing with power rangers in the front yard. This was when they were HUUUUUGE! We decided to tie strings to them and make them fly around by swinging them really fast. Somehow i tripped and fell on my back and the red ranger came flying into my junk full speed. Im pretty sure i cried.
  21. They had some on a rack in front of the fishing section at academy for 1.29 each. I used them all year last year and they produced very well for me. One day in mid october after a front and some rain blew through we went out and landed 20+ on the chrome and black cotton cordell's with no problems. I grabbed the last 6 off the rack. Plus the sandies eat them up like CRAZY where i fish and we have a huge fish fry.
  22. I recently have started using the 7" rage tail anacondas and i havent picked up another worm other than a weightless senko. The weight size will depend on water depth. General size is a 1/4 oz but anything under 5 ft i will throw an 1/8 oz bullet weight. I give it 2 pops and let it sink and sit and then repeat. The tail on the anacondas have incredible action. I have bags of zoom mag 2 worms and berkley power worms that i bought and havent opened yet because i have been doing so well on the anacondas i dont see the need to throw anything else at this time. Try senkos. They are amazing plastics. I would deffinitely keep them weightless either t rigged or wacky rigged, that way it doesnt kill the lures natural "wiggle". The good (and bad) thing about plastics is there are so many to choose from so just grab some worms and creature baits that catch your eye and throw em on an ewg hook with a weight according to the water depth and put them in the water. hop them, swim them, twitch them. Just make them come alive and let the fish tell you what they want.
