Big T- I ranted about cable a couple months back on here, I have Charter, who does not even have DVR in our area and I'm still paying more with them than I was with two DVRs with TWC. We are switching to DirecTV ASAP also, you'll have to let me know which channels to make sure to DVR my fishing shows! Hope you enjoy it!

I think these guys have nailed the top two jobs for a guy your age, mowing lawns and golf course work. I did the mowing lawns and construction jobs and my step-brother always did the golf course thing. He usually made more money, but spent it all in the pro shop while I saved everything I made. I know at our lake here some of the marinas hire summer help to give them a hand with parts runs and dockside refueling, rentals, etc.

they have been spawning here in central ohio for a week or two. The bite is definitely on!

I bought a pack the other day and threw them for a while yesterday just to check out the action. These are going to fill the livewell quick! Great action on the topwater. I rigged mine with a Gammy 5/0 EWG hook and threw it on 12 lb mono and just rolled it at a moderate pace and was very impressed. No fish even looking for topwater yet here, but I cant wait to throw this thing in the coming weeks!

haha, I feel ya! I started yesterday (fri) in tenth and somehow managed to jump to 5th by the end of the day

Got the lure thursday, took it out for a quick hour on a small pond. All I managed to hook in there was a chunk of ice. I was dead set on not losing this lure, so I sat there tossing chunks of downed tree branches at the ice until it broke through. One bad cast almost ruined the day! I'm heading out again tomorrow or monday, so I should have a little more luck!

I have a pond I want to shore fish. It has on small stream running into it, and drains into grate on the opposite side of the pond. Its maybe 3-4 acres, and I can find no rock/sand or anything other than mud on the banks. There is a ton of lily pads and lots of down trees in the water, so finding structure is not a problem, but in prespawn what should I focus on in there are no obvious beds/staging areas to focus on? Thanks!

Someone posted about this a couple months ago and everyone on here had nothing but good things to say about it. Do a search and see if it comes up. My little brother bought one last night, seems like a great bag, but maybe a little much for a shore fisherman to lug around. Great boat bag though!

Ebay used to be great for getting a deal on lightly used or overstock stuff, but far too many people have figured out how to make a lot of cash selling on there. Too many people hop online and buy what they want from ebay thinking they are getting a deal, without researching the price/product ahead of time. One in twenty sales on there is a good deal after shipping. craigslist is much better

Congrats on the good lookin little man! My little guy turns one in two weeks, and its been a fun ride so far. When he was born I thought I was all prepared, but as soon as I saw him the tears hit me, by far the most amazing feeling on Earth! Congrats man
