  1. I'm sure the asthma sucks but really it's only 2 miles. As far as bean poles. When I was in high school I ran cross country and track. We made it to state my Junior year in division 1. We came in last but that's not the point. The best team that year was a divsion 3 school that had like 400 students. Cross Country is 3.1 miles and they had 7 varsity runners and not a single one ran over an 18.00 min. time. They had like 3 guys in the 15's 2 or 3 in the 16's and 1 or 2 in the 17's. The whole team was all 5'5 to maybe 5'9 and all of them were probably 145-165. They where all short bulky dudes. Something else to think about. Can you do any of your training on trails? I was way worse at track than cross country cause I hated running on a track. I was alot faster in the woods than I was on pavement. Maybe something to try if it's an option. For the most part I agree except get some Saucony's (best running shoes I ever owend) or Asics. Nike's suck.
  2. Ever seen a rental that wasn't? If you could rent a Ferrari or any sports car, it would be beat to death within a week. I'm not trying to say a Mustang is a Ferrari. It isn't. Never has been never will be. All I'm saying is 650hp from the factory with a warranty for $60.000 is a lot of bang for the buck.
  3. Yeah, that makes sense. Not the first time I missed something obvious.
  4. Like Raider said I don't think there is to much to look for. We have an Oster and it makes waffles. Teflon coated would be the only thing I would worry about.
  5. What Legend? Is Acura coming out with a new Legend? Do you mean new NSX?
  6. The Thunderbird was created to compete with the Corvette. The Camaro was created to compete with the Mustang. The Corvette is a sports car and the Mustang is a Muscle car (or pony car). That Ferrari does look like a Corvette and I think both are ugly. Either way the 2013 Shelby GT 500 will be 650hp and is probably going to cost around $60.000. For those who can afford it, that's going to be a hell of a deal.
  7. I have a gray lens. Sorta. It's a gray lens that kinda has a slight bronze tint to it. If you look at the glasses it is a gray lens but when looking through the glasses there is a slight bronze tint along with the gray. Maybe not ideal for fishing but better than nothing and they work well while driving and just general use. It's a very good all around lens for me.
  8. Don't know about any fit overs but if you can afford it prescription sunglasses are one of the best investments you will ever make. I bought mine 5 or 6 years ago and love them. If it's daytime and I'm out, I have them on. I finally talked my wife into getting a pair about a month ago and she will not leave the house without them either. I paid about $160.00 for mine and they are metal framed glass lens Bolle's. Paid around $140.00 for the wifes and they are plastic framed polycarbonite lens no names.
  9. Hope I never have to use it but I learned something. Thanks.
  10. No. Get a pair of Red Wings. You can thank me later.

Please explain. This is way off topic. To the O.P. sorry. Trokar hooks seem overpriced to me. Never used them so I really have no idea.
  12. It is my favorite TV show and is one of the funniest shows ever. Right up there with Lucy, Archie, and Homer. I am also a lifetime member in NO' MAAM (aren't we all?) and Ed O'Neal is from my hometown. slonezp you have a pm.

Toothpicks are dirt cheap, work well, and last forever.
  14. One of the funniest skits in television history. I laugh everytime I see it.
  15. or Randall or SirSnook or LBH... I am pretty sure even RW is a pretty big spinning guy Buy better gear. If people can catch fish in the salt with them...
  16. Rub some dirt on it
  17. Kinda reminds me of the toddler song by Sean Morey. "Mommy has a toy rocket in her drawer..."
  18. No way I would get that close. That's a big momma! Neither does my wif... nevermind.
  19. http://nfl.cpa.delvenetworks.com/delve/player/carousel/embed_code.html?channelId=de89a8aeb3e422bac4eb48567f10ebd0&mediaId=a871fbb1a7ab46f89803ba1840f8e464 He really doesn't get it. This is the dumbest thing I have seen him do.
  20. Don't really know. I have never been questioned by one while out fishing and have not talked to a state park police officer for at least 15 years. They where straight forward and respectful back then as long as you where the same. Never a problem.
  21. That's weird? I'd call that lucky. I live in a town about twice that size and no Starbucks. My dad lives in a town about that size, no Starbucks but they have a Dunkin Donuts! My wife works in a town about that size and it is nothing but a mall and strip malls from one end of the main drag to the other. Guess how many Starbucks they have? Yep, they have one.
  22. No. You do not need a dehydrator. http://www.ehow.com/how_5322677_make-homemade-beef-jerky-oven.html Google how to make jerky in the oven. I've never made it this way but I have a buddy that used to make it all the time that way. I always make mine in a dehydrator. I got lucky 2-3 years back and found a 4 tray Ron Popeil dehydrator at Big Lots for around $15.00. I've seen them at Wal-Mart in the past for a decent price also. Edit: I forgot to mention that you can use just about any type of meat. I use london broils because they are cheap. My wife works at a store that sells them for around $3.00 a pound.
  23. Most will recommend a 4/0 hook for the sticks, 3/0 will work just fine. Also, I'm a bit surprised no one mentioned grubs?
  24. x2 Cheap and easy
