  1. I have a beardie. Sorry, no pics.
  2. http://www.powertrax.com/powertrax/tractioninfo.html Probably a lot more info than you wanted but still a good read on traction. Watch the videos on the Powertrax web site. Pretty amazing. By the way, my 93 Jeep Cherokee has the New Process 241 (Selec-Trac) transfer case that has a setting for Full Time 4x4 that can be used year round in any condition, dry pavement included. Bassectomy, I've been meaning to ask you, is that a wimeriener in your avitar?
  3. Hey Muddy, Get some ballhead jigs in whatever weight you need and some 3-4 inch curly tail grubs. I like Zoom Fat Alberts but there are tons out there that work well. It can be deadly while vertical jigging but can be just as effective while swimming.
  4. So let me get this straight cart. Are you saying they are two different things? :) http://www.bassresource.com/fish/flip&pitch.html
  5. Not that I am aware of. Lead is heavy and sinks. A chatterbait has a blade on the front of it that wobbles side to side on the retrieve, banging the blade off the jig head making a chattering sound and a lot of vibration. The chatterbait is also meant to be a swimming type bait. A jig is usally hopped or drug on the bottom but it can also be used as a swimming bait. Now back to the original question. No one is stopping you. Go ahead and try it, may work great. Then again it may not, but you will never know unless you try!
  6. x2 And Justice For All was the last great album and Black was the last decent one.
  7. I don't know if it's still the case or not but I used to work with a guy who drove a Dakota with a V-6 and his wife drove a Durango with a V-8. Probably 2002-2004 models not sure. Just normal everday driving the Durango with the V-8 actually got 2-3 miles more to the gallon. Just something to think about.

Right now I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 and 188,000. Still runs strong and burns no oil. I had a 94 Thunderbird with a 4.6 that had well over 300,000, probably closer to 4-500,000 miles on it when I sold it. Don't really know for sure as the odometer quit working on it shortly after I bought it with 125,000 showing. Drove it 80 miles a day to and from work for almost 5 years after that plus alot of long distance family vacations. It was starting to burn some oil, but still ran pretty strong when I sold it.
  9. Russ, Where you fishing in the toilet again? ;D Very nice pics everyone!

  13. Now Raul lives in a van down by the river... but he does have a very large tackle warehouse! ;D

Chatter Bait, I bet you can't wait for ice out! ;D
  16. x2 I love the Texposer hooks and they are cheap too.
  17. Not sure where Jig Man gets his clips but Eagle Claw makes a hook with a clip that are real close. I bought a bunch on sale at Wal-Mart a few years back and take the keepers off and put them on EWG hooks. They work great!
  18. Youngstown, OH. $3.29 for 87 $4.01 for diesel

I fish from the shore and like to have something waterproof in case I step in the water. Right now I use a pair of Red Wings Waterproof work boot. They are kind of heavy but very comfortable.
  20. Here is the picture I am currently using.
  21. Thanks! I just sanded it smooth with some fine grit sandpaper, washed it down with water, polished it with polishing compound, and then waxed it with car wax. I really like the way it looks. It has a dull graphite finish to it. I removed the foregrip a a couple of weeks ago. On this rod it was super easy. It had on of those twisting cork forgrips with a thin metal sleeve on the end. Cut the cork, break the sleeve, and that was about it.
  22. Thanks for the inspiration dsaavedra!!! Only took about 3 hours and feels great! Thanks again.
  23. Possibly true. I have read awhile ago in NAFC and maybe Bassin' that all braid was made by Spectra and (?), some other company. That was a while ago and I'm not sure it was true even at the time I read it.
  24. 29 gal freshwater and a red oscar. I have a 55 gal. ready for him when he gets bigger. Also have a 5 gal. for feeder fish. Hey LBH, do you give your oscar toys? Mine gets a new lure every Sunday.
  25. Keep the old truck. It's paid for and fixing the few problems you may have will never equal a new truck payment. Ohh and get the tranny cooler. Every 20 degrees you lower the tranny's temp will double its life!!!
