The 3" Berkley Gulp Minnow in the smelt colour is fantastic around here. This is my most used bait on D-shot.

Our bass season is from: 4th Saturday in June to December 15th. We can fish perch, crappie, sunfish and pike all year in my FMZ.

I love my Shimano Conquest's.

The paint on mine is still perfect. Keep in mind, I don't throw them every time I'm on the water but, they've been wet quite a bit. Never had an issue with any other components either.

I have used the medium & deep yellow perch crankbaits with some success. I did fairly well with them in a tournament a couple years ago, targeting active smallies in 6-10 FOW. I plan on adding some bluegill & pumpkinseed versions to my arsenal this year.

I just purchased this exact rod for jerkbaits this year. Mine will be paired with a Conquest 51.

I try to do whatever it takes to avoid it. But, if I have to, I always use an a*$ gasket.

That reel is far more than a custom painted Daiwa Pixy - it is a true work of art both inside and out - minus those ugly reel grips ;D I agree 100%. That Pixy is smokin'! (Especially without those grips) And, the handle is on the correct side.

I know the feeling you got. I couldn't believe they scored to tie it. You've got to give them credit for that. In the end we had one of our greatest players score the biggest goal of his career and one of the biggest goals for Canada, ever. Fantastic!
