Ummmmm I think The Reel Mechanic is mistaken. I have both and the Saros is a much nicer reel, IMO. :-? ;D

I agree with The_Natural. Take it back and exchange it. I have a Saros 2500 (since Christmas) and it's been flawless. I love it!

"Shimano differentiates the reel by offering it only in a 6.2:1 retrieve, so if you want a burner reel or a slow speed 5.0:1 you will want to opt for the Curado, but if you are looking for a good all round reel the Citica E will likely appeal to you." I agree though. I would like a 6.2:1 (or something similar) Curado too. Oh well, no big deal .

Justin Mahaney, Bass season doesn't open until the 4th Saturday in June (the 28th), which isn't until next weekend. It is illegal to target bass until then. Many people get confused with this (or just don't care), thinking that if they practice C&R they are ok, but that is not the case. Here is some info you may want to look at: http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/198219.pdf (Pay particular attention to where it says "Open Seasons" on page 4 of 9). Hmmmmmm................I suppose if I was forced, I would give up hunting. Although, I definitely agree with KYbass1276, especially since we cannot fish for bass all year (June - November).
