there is alot of small lakes in the western side around garrett county like broadford res. savage river res. and a few others

naw i havent been over there yet im going to fish it next month so tell me how you do

i like either a shad color in most of the waters here but if there is alot of creek chubs i will use a fluke that is black and white with a good bit of pink in it

i have already caught smallies and bucketmouths fishing the exact same spot during the spawn it was around a steeper bank with a hard bottom but a lot of timber too the largemouths were closer to shore the smallies were out alittle bit farther

totally agree with sam and the eye on the jighead doesnt have to be 60 * to be a shaky head

really i used them a few times, not too many and never had any more luck on them then on a normal wacky rig i actually had poorer hookup ratios

yup get out the vacuums because the pens sweep the only team that really worries me is detroit which is some time away yet

try using really light line like 4# test it really ups the catch rate in clearer bodies of water

i like them for feeder river or creeks of bigger lakes with good smallmouth populations works great in small rivers too

all the rivers i fish in WV have populations of shad in them along with bluegill and shiners

yea i rarely use them on the queen the only place i have had problems with pike biting off my bronzeye frogs is at Glendale lake in all the pads

on those jigs is that black maribu?

yea im not sure who makes it but the little bait does have fish catching power it works

try fisherie.com they have some really good maps of elk and walnut creek up there idk but its worth a try
