did you google it? I can tell you one thing because I have several bamboo rods---the worst place for it is in the attic and basement. The extreme temps and moisture make it brittle which could be why the wraps are failing. I suggest bringing it to a fly shop and ask them to examine the cond of the rod. Great find!!!

You can go to any one and be thrilled or disappointed--thats just fishing So my suggestion is go to the place with the best guides or the place where you have the most info about. See if someone from the site who has been fishing these lakes for years is willing to set you up so you have the best chance of being thrilled.
