best/funniest fishing saying
After watchin Bill Dance forever I started saying "slide right up here on my thumb" when we would fish bassmaster rules. (if me and a friend go fishing together from one boat we always compete and use either bassmaster no nets or flw nets) he though that was the funniest! but I think its hilarious when Dance uses dadgummit or dadgum!

bull #@%& fishing ticket
Here the fuzz move around but sometimes They will be at the ramp and ask If you would like a complimetary inspection. You can decline, but it will save you time in the long run. They give you a sticker that you can put on your boat but I never do. Not illegal. That puts me at risk for an on the water check. That would cost me time but I am not putting a sticker on my boat that I have to change every year. My choice. My brother in law has been warned because he has scripted registration letters and numbers. Very minor offense. He hasn't changed them, that puts him at risk for a ticket and inspection. His choice.

my resume draft pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeeee help many mistakes
This is what I am talking about there bass pro. Just tell us you would have to do chores or something if you smarted off to dad. Telling people you would have to "pay dad" makes them wonder. I am 33 and never have I had to pay my dad anything at all. And I make more money than him. I do buy him breakfasts and gifts but he has never asked me to pay him back for being his son. When I smarted off I got whupped.. Remember this and I am done "when you tell the truth you don't have to have a good memory". I am a dad too I know what youngins go through.

Sorry. People should just be aware of the laws. The fishing regs should be priority for all of us.

To be perfectly honest the man who catches the next world record could be a mute and it would not matter. I would rather listen to a stuttering, mumbling KVD (we know he doesn't) than a well spoken Joe Shmoe from Idaho.

Basspro you are not feeling what is being said. There comes a point when fishing becomes a job and is not fun fishing anymore. It is now fishing for your paycheck. No paycheck,no money,no fun. You are on the right track by being in a club and wanting to pursue fishing but, I assure you NOTHING in life is GARANTEED. Fishing may not be here forever. Just slow down a bit and be 12 for awhile. If you are what you say you are people and sponsors will notice. I dont know what would make you think sponsors want people who can talk over people who can back up their talk with performance. They could hire a professional speaker if that was the case. Diawa nobody is intentionally being mean or wanting him to be put off. I was and still am trying to firmly stress the importance of an education. That is the ONLY thing a 12 year old young man should be taking so serious at that age.

How did you find Bass Resource?
googled "bass fishing" I think. Been spending alot of time here lately too!

Can I put a jig on a C rig?
Some pro was using a jewel jig with a c/r and a senko in bassmaster magazine. Substitute the jig for the sinker but it has to be a jig with the turned eye.

No offense at all. The reality of it is though sponsors or no that is a tough life a pro has. Looking to get full rides at 12 is a bit much and a back-up plan is not mentioned. Your sponsor want results and a angler needs a bit of a following to be relevant. Let's be honest I would maybe ask him how the fish were biting if I saw him but it would be awefully hard to take heavy advice from such a young guy let alone listening to a sponsor pitch. Reach for the stars but make sure you have your feet on the ground!!

Big Bass!
Geez again!!! I personally liked the 8-8 Smallie though, that fish was a beauty. These largemouth are crazy fat.

OH I see Cleveland, Tennesee. Things must be waaaayyyy different down there huh? I still don't see a 12 year old being able to operate that type of boat. Let alone get it to the lake.

12 years old and running a 150? Cleveland,Ohio? I am not any enforcement agency or anything, but in Ohio I think the law says you cannot operate a boat of more than ten horsepower unless you are over 16 and had a safety course. I can check this out to make sure if you want. How do you get your boat to the lake? Does dad take you there and wait 8 hours while you compete in a tourney? Or did you maybe get a new Tahoe and special Jr. Bassmaster drivers license to go along with that Ranger? I am not trying to bust up any dreams a 12 year old may have. I know we need all the fishermen we can get , but you have to know you cannot legally sign any sponsor contracts til you are 18. Right. Like Tin says impress your english teacher first. I GARANTEE you will get further with a college degree than you will with bass fishing. Trying to be #1 in your bass club would problably help too if you would like to advance in competitive fishing. Nobody remembers 2nd place let alone third.

When did you fall in love with fishing?
Very early 4 or 5 watching the sun go down catfishing with my dad. Been fishing ever since. Started focusing on bass at about 14. Its scary to remember some of the trips of the past so vividly and realize how fast time flies!! I still fish for other species with my wife and daughter but bass are my thing! It's the challenge that has me hooked. What did Skeete Reese say "who needs crack when there is bass fishing"?
