Cool pics. I have a ball python and it's about 11 years old. Really nice snake. It struck at me one time but it was because of a rat that was trying to kill it. My mistake because he wasn't ready to eat and the rat decided it was going to fight. I had to kill the rat and my snake was just ticked and was just striking at anything that it could pick up with heat. Didn't injure the snake. btw, If anyone is ever in Wilmington NC, you have to visit the Serpentarium. This place is like a zoo for some of the deadliest snakes in the world. Bushmasters, 18ft King Cobra, spitting cobras, green and black mambas, Fer de Lance, etc...

I have to agree with cart7t, also, I would look at what's closest to your home. Just in case something happens to the boat, you can take it around the corner to get it fixed.

I remember reading a post about bass eating discarded plastics and it cause them to starve or maybe she has a hook inside that it could not pass. IDK just guessing.

Congrats and Shaw is a pretty cool dude. I had the opportunity to meet him at this years classic. Do you have any idea when the show is going to be on TV.

During the cooler months I will keep one out a little longer but nothing over a minute. During the summer, as quick as I can because the water temps here gets close to a 100 degrees in parts of this lake because of the water coming out of the plant.

I agree. A certain frog that I throw don't draw the same kind of attention. Sometimes I will see a wake behind the bait but they will not eat it. That's when I will change to something a little different.

I like fishing in the rain too but have learned my lesson about t-storms with hail, never again. Funny though, I have a friend that love t-storms.
