Re: Southern New England Fishing Report
It's been hot and cold this year with the amount bigguns caught on the low side. The Fall bite has been on but not quite as expected. Caught a donzen fish last Friday, biggest around 5lbs on swimbaits in a weedy shallow RI pond, caught 10 fish on swimbaits, and spider grubs Tuesday, biggest around 4lbs, but only where there was moving water,i.e. streams,inlets/outlets. As stated above the cold fronts definately affect there patterns. Cold fronts usually means slow your presentation and down size your lures. But what do I know?

Kistler Magnesium TS Casting Rod VS. Shimano Cumara
Thanks for the input people! Kistlers costomer service was outstanding. I snapped a Hullium 2 in half and $50 later a new one arrived in the mail less then a week later. It was much quicker then shipping and waiting a month for Shimano. The last Cumara I purchced had an eye and rap come unbuttoned. The dealer I bought it from refused the over the counter return and this was after dropping $600 in his store. > Basspro also has you send it back to Shimano as well. With all that said, I'm most likely going w/the Cumara's. Thanks again for your advice!

Kistler Magnesium TS Casting Rod VS. Shimano Cumara
I was considering buying another Cumara, but then saw they increased in price by $20 more. > Looking at the Kistler Magnesium TS's and they seem to have all the features I'm looking for @ $50 less. I wasn't a big fan of this years model LTA's,but like the idea of supporting "MADE IN USA"! Looking for some hands on experience with the Mag TS's. Thank you in advance. Paul

Reinforcing Swimbaits in Fall!
They look sweeeeeeeeeeet! A few 9lb+'s caught last year on it. Trying to get one of my freinds to trade the BBZ and a few other SB's for one of my Avids.

Slammer hatter! > Just as big??????? :-?BUUUUUUUUUUULLONY! The Slammer is much more of a LM lure then it is a SM lure. Yet, I must have been sleeping in the front of the jon when you caught/lost the 4lb+ Smallie on that itsy-bitsy wiener rig The wind and rain died, conditions changed, and so did the bite. Lets put your theory to the test...... Once the doctors surgically remove your skirt and reinsert your nadds, let me know and will do this...........Slammer vs. drop shot @ Belville! ;D Challenge issued!!!! Awaiting the date your available??????? :-/ You know I love the drop shot bud! But it's a ton of fun throwing the swimbait! In addition, when has the drop shot produced dinks like this.......... ;D 8.9lb Slammer fish, 9/08 Note the weather conditions.....sunny blue bird skies. 8.11lb Slammer fish,9/08

Reinforcing Swimbaits in Fall!
Nasty, wet, windy, bailing out the jon most of the time, with prune like appendages. Swimbaits make it all worth the trip!!! Fished from 10am until 2pm today with the bestnetmanaround, at a shallow weed choked,Southern RI pond. Unfortunately I happened to have the blessing and Brandon the curse. We threw nothing but the 6" Huddleston and the 9"green perch, MS Slammer.Myself: 8 fish on the Slammmer and 3 on the Hudd. 8-) Brandon:GOOSE EGGED :'( You'll get-em next time bud!!!! Sorry about the sad pic's, taken w/cell. Just a few dinks for your pleasure ;D

Another reason to throw those large swimbaits this time of year in New England! Picture is DSOUTH on another site. 7.6 HAWG on the MS Slammer- The new Curado E 7 VERY SWEEEEEEET!
This combo is 7'2" M/H X Fast 1/4-1oz,matched w/the E7. Also my favorite combo!- The new Curado E 7 VERY SWEEEEEEET!
Just incase someone didnt catch this, he wanted to saw that, "He likes it better than his revos" Sold all my Revo's and bought E7's- The new Curado E 7 VERY SWEEEEEEET!
Picked up the new E7 a few days ago and gotta say I'm very impressed! Casts a mile! Seems a bit smoother then the older version, loving the lower profile and new color. Cranks in fish with ease. Also trying out the Gamma line, which I also like. Gotta get me a few more of these to match up with the new rods!- What do you do differently in the Fall?
Fall equals LARGER LURES Swimbait time! Plus 10" worms.- Canceled!!!!!!!!!!!
Canceled once again! - For those wondering what type of lures to throw in Fall!
