Homemade split grips
You'd have to prove that to me, and include any spiffs/tariffs/backroom discounts being handed out. otherwise you pulling out of thin air. Lemme guess, you guys all drive American cars, like the Chevy Equinox.... :-? As far as "increased sensitivity, let me ask a PROFESSIONAL rod builder this question: If I came to you and said sensitivity was important to me, would you honestly suggest an SCII blank and a skeleton grip? Seriously, the only reason guys are doing this is to make their rods look fancy. I don't have any problem with that, but don't tell me your jig rod is better because you took a set of pliers and some sandpaper to it.

Homemade split grips
Won't make any noticeable difference on an average blank.

Homemade split grips
I don't see why removing the foregrip from an average blank would give you gains in sensitivity.

Bass Pro Spring Classic Flyer?
Discounted Shimano wouldn't have interested me either. I can't really say. Its not my job to decide on BPS marketing strategies. I just flipped through, and nothing interested me.

I bought some P Line. Good choice?
If you're familiar with the Trilene brand, then CX is the XL of the PLine family. CXX is the XT. What does that even mean? :-? Didn't I just run the freaking numbers a month or so ago, and CXX was actually thinner than Trilene XT? :-? Where do these people get their info from? :

I've tried all the spinnerbait boxes out there, and finally settled on the FTO wallet. Best thing I've found.

Irondequoit Bay is super large? LMAO.... They add new lakes all the time. I looked it up online and there are parks along the bay you mentioned that are bigger than the largest inland lake in most of the FL panhandle, Hurricane Lake, 318 acres; and I do not include Lake Seminole as that actually has more water area in GA than FL (but Lake Seminole also does not have any underwater topos on that site either and that is 37,500 acres). From what I see online, that "bay" is still in excess of 2000 acres, plus the connection to Lake Ontario makes it more of an extension of Lake Ontario than a lake sitting on its own like many areas of the US. Try this location: N 30.94136 W 86.75702 and the surrounding areas, no underwater topos of this area until you hit the Gulf of Mexico and the attached bays Obviously, you've never fished the Great lakes, or you'd know that the bay is as far from an extension of Lake Ontario as it gets. Like two COMPLETELY different bodies of water. Bottom line, Angling Technologies actually offers depth contours on many waters, and is continually adding more lakes. Besides, if your water is that small, learn how to use your graph. Something is better than nothing.

Applications for 6.3 gear ratio reel..........????
Just use your reels for what you fish with....you'll adjust, and develop preferences. People tend to over complicate this. Gear Ratio is just that, IPT is what you want to use as a reference point.
