Boater's Safety Course
It's amazing to me how a thread about boating safety can inspire so many off topic posts. Stay on topic. In my experience, insurance has only ever gone up, year after year, no matter what safety courses, first responder training, CPR, etc. training I have received. I do these things in order to be prepared should someone else need help. Heaven forbid we think of someone else for a change.

Way off-topic. A cooking discussion?
I was a line chef in a former life. I like cooking and feeding others.

3" Minnows and Leeches are good for smallmouth on a drop shot.

Co-angler Etiquette Question
Did you ask him where you can fish? My stock answer to these questions is always ask. If you don't like the answer, get your own boat. It stinks, but that's the way it is. Your other option is to look for team format competition where both anglers contribute to the final weight.

Scientific Bass Information
Being color blind to blue, I wonder about this as well. I can see blue, but I can't really discern when it has some yellow in it. They all look the same to me: blue.

Winter fishing zoom call series
Sorry I missed it. Gallstones got in the way. We're all okay now, though.

"Big" Bass, Small Ponds
It's almost always new members or spammers that do it. I don't mind it when new guys dredge an old thread up - it's kind of fun to see the old posts and if opinions have changed. It doesn't stop me from poking a little fun, though. Spammers on the other hand, it makes it easy to spot them when they bring up an old post.

4 in tubes
Bite Me has a ton of great jigs. They're like the biggest name no one has ever heard of.

Stamp collecting. Plastics and hardbaits are only 40% of my bare minimum to catch fish.

LEWS KVD Split Ring tool eval
MIne came nicely oiled. I'm amazed at all the "stainless" tools I have that rusted when not oiled. All my tools get wiped down with a rag soaked in 3 in 1 oil.

If you are ordering from Amazon, get the Xuran splitters. They're better than Texas Tackle.

So I did it: I forgot to put the drain plug in.
No way I could get to it on either glass boats I owned - both were stepped pad hulls. The Xprrss was probably accessible, but the twin bilge pumps worked as fast as it came in. @clayton86 can verify this lol.

So I did it: I forgot to put the drain plug in.
Unless you have a remote plug, you aren't getting at it from within the boat.
