Seaguar finesse fluorocarbon
I use 6.2 for spinning. It's excellent line, better than Invisx, and about as good as Tatsu.

Why did I buy a Plano Hydro-Flo box?
Pretty much ALL my lures get wet. All my boxes are HydroFow, with the exception of the few Edge boxes I'm trying. FOr years, I struggled with rusty hooks. That problem went away when I started using HydroFlow.

Best knot for Braid to Fluoro leader
I thought it was for something else...

Best soft plastics as of 2020!!
May bag is usually full of Senkos, Ragetails Craws and Chunks, Crosstail Shad, Keitech Fat Impacts, and whatever bait I'm trying. I try to keep it pretty simple.

Anyone priced Ranger aluminums and Triton aluminums?
Can't speak for the Vexus, I regret ever selling my Xpress.

Best knot for Braid to Fluoro leader
Alberto is the knot I tie best. FG gave me failures. Uni 2 Uni eemed to work well, until it didn't. On light braid/leader, (15/6) I've used a triple Surgeon's with good success. It's really all about tying a good knot.

Anyone priced Ranger aluminums and Triton aluminums?
Cool. It also has an offset transom. Unusual for a tin hull.

Anyone priced Ranger aluminums and Triton aluminums?
I can't tell, other than the title that there's any other question in your post. Are you asking why Tritons are less, or if they are less? Or if anyone has priced out these boats? I've been pricing out many boats for several months. For aluminum, neither of these brands is on my radar., so I haven't noticed. The modified V platform has been around a while, and any of these boats have some common traits, the differences mostly lie in the hull gauge, fit and finish, and layout. There's a few exceptions, like Xpress and GatorTrax, that have a pad hull construction that's different from the rest.

Any interest in trapping?
My cousin did a fair amount of trapping when he was younger. Made decent money doing it, too. Not for me, though I've been known to lay out a few snap traps.

Working to Stay Lean ~
Me too. I only ever feel truly light on my feet when I'm behind the drum kit, or on a plank of wood with four little wheels.

Sounds like whatever work you do not have done at the factory/dealer needs to have approval in writing from manus.

Post a photo a day!
Nice job, man!

Working to Stay Lean ~
Are those ankle weights, too? Wow, that's 90 lbs. in his hands, folks. This work out, I can relate to. It's very similar to what I do, but with FAR less weight. Not sure I could keep up today. Haven't been able to see the chiro since this mess. Stretching, playing drums, skating, sanding drywall are my exercise. Good one, @A-Jay

Hoping I can get back on the water in full force come spring
Well, hey what's up. Sounds like you're not through the the woods yet, but you can see the light. Good tot hear from you - was beginning to wonder. Good to have you back.

Seeing as their site has video of one with Talons, I’d say they have some means to attach without voiding the warranty.

Then you read the part about recourse. We do not offer public discourse. See below: I'm closing this thread, since there is nothing to talk about here. I'm not even sure what threads we're talking about. I'm sure there's more interesting fishing related things to discuss.

General line questions
Yep, me too. That's why I want to know EXACTLY what the OP wants to try, and offer whether I think it's worth the swap.

General line questions
I used CXX as my favored line for more than a decade before switching to fluoro. Feel like my opinion is qualified.
-
General line questions
I don't think anything regular price in that price range is an upgrade to CXX, per se. What baits/rigs/set ups were you thinking of trying fluoro with?

Finesse is really great stuff at that size. Fishes like 4# line.

It is ALWAYS the same story, over and over again, isn't it?

Versatile smallmouth lures
I would have to pick a soft plastic. Anything the right size, really. There's 1001 rigs that all work for smallmouth, regardless of depth, cover, or current.

Has Anyone else not caught their first 2020 bass yet?
Only caught a couple, and I wasn't really trying. Just out for a walk at a local pond. We're expecting some kind of snow storm this weekend.
